Für New York ein gutes Hotel

Wir fanden das Hotel sehr schön, es war sauber ,freundliches Personal und man fühlt sich dort wohl. Das Frühstück war für uns gut, ein Waffelautomat Cornflakes und Toast reicht uns völlig. Wer deftiges Frühstück mag, findet dort allerdings nicht so viel. Wurst ist nicht vorhanden und Käse nur als Frischkäse. Ganz in der Nähe ist die Metro von dort aus ist man ziemlich schnell in Manhatten. Uns hat die Gegend in Brooklyn prima gefallen und wir sind dort auch oft unterwegs gewesen. Wir fanden das Zimmer gut ausgestattet, bei mir lief auch der Föhn und alles weitere tadellos. Das einzige was uns etwas gestört hat waren die wirklich dünnen Wände und das man alles gehört hat. Aber ich denke das ist auch in anderen Hotels in der USA ähnlich. Wir würden immer wieder in das Hotel fahren.

It's a Super 8...

Decent Room,quite clean. Thin walls, could hear the next room's TV and yelling. hHd to pay $20 just to park behind the hotel. Bed rolls around, sort of annoying. Basic breakfast on the first floor, with a waffle maker which was a nice touch. the pillows were atrocious, never had such a lumpy pile of garbage under my head. Overall a decent budget hotel to sleep for a night.

The worst hotel EVER

Loud TV from room next door on 24/7.....I checked out after 2 nights owing to lack of sleep. Quite possible the person in room next door had died....but staff not interested. Hotel seems more like a cross between a flop house and a bail hostel....long term residents I think. Security guards on patrol....possibly to keep certain guests in rather than trouble out? For a little more you can stay in much better hotels in the area. The WORST hotel I have ever had the displeasure to stay in. Hotels.com should not have this dump on their inventory.

Perfect stay !

Very nice Super 8, we had a room on the front with a view on Manhattan, far away but still. Clean room, good beds. Breakfast was simpel but good, very well coffee. From the hotel it's a nice (long) walk to the Brooklyn Bridge, a lot of shops nearby, Whole Foods is located across the street. Nothing to complain, will certainly come back to this hotel.

Never again.

Extremely noisy. Front desk friendly and helpful. Paper thin walls. Could hear every word on TV next door until turned off at 2am and conversations across the hall. Not worth the price.

First Impression of Brooklyn

Hotel personnel were very courteous and helpful. Transportation arrangements were made for me to get to airport for a very early morning flight. Room was clean and comfortable.

Nice hotel for short stay

The hotel was just right for our short stay. It was clean and located close to where I had to work. There is a Whole Foods in walking distance for groceries. The breakfast included a waffle maker. I would have wanted a hotel located closer to more shops and restaurants to walk to. It was only as we drove to the airport that we saw all that we could have visited. My only complaint was the night staff that was at the front desk when we arrived. He was not welcoming and was playing a video game. He checked us in and was not too helpful as we asked about having food delivered.

Billigt hotel, men med plads og transport besvær

Lille værelse med meget lidt plads til tøj. Morgenmad: Kaffe, te, juice, mælk, corn flake, toast, begel og vafler. Ligger tæt på subway, men (R) linien kører ikke så tit og det tager lang tid til f. eks. Times Square (ca. 40 min), hvis man ikke skifter. Besværligt at finde den rette linie "late night" da (R) ikke kører.

Hôtel fonctionnel et pratique car proche du métro

Séjour touristique en couple d'une semaine. Hôtel facile à trouver. Check-in et check-out sans problème. Chambre propre qui donnait sur le parking de l'hôtel donc peu de bruit. La possibilité de prendre le petit-déjeuner sur place est intéressante même si sa qualité est moyenne (manque de salé mais possibilité de faire des gaufres!)

Günstiges Hotel in guter Lage.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber. Wir hatten mit 4 Frauen ein Zimmer gebucht. Aufgrund von Krankheit sind wir aber nur zu dritt angereist. Das war platzmäßig ok. Zu viert sind die Zimmer zu klein. Das Frühstück ist überschaubar, soll für amerikanische Verhältnisse aber normal sein. Habe da leider keinerlei Vergleich da ich das erstemal in den USA war. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Solides gutes Hotel in angenehmer Lage in Brooklyn

Zimmer waren gut und sauber, Frühstück ist spartanisch kann aber mit geringen Eigenmittel gut aufgepeppt werden (z. B. Nutella-Glas oder frische Tomaten/Gurke u. ä.). Personal sehr freundlich, kompetent, immer hilfsbereit. Lage, in ein paar Schritten tolle Kneipen, gute Szene und immer sicher gefühlt. Der Subway Anschluss in der Union Street ist ideal um viele markante Punkte in Manhattan und auch Brooklyn direkt anzufahren. Ich empfand es angenehm, abends aus Manhattan rauszukommen und in das verhältnismäßig "ruhige" Brooklyn zu kommen.

Kleines Hotel in Brooklyn

Ich verbrachte eine gute Woche in diesem kleinen Hotel an den Ausläufern des Park Slope Viertels. Das Zimmer war mit Klimaanlage, TV, Wasserkocher/Kaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank, Bügeleisen und -brett sowie Fön gut ausgestattet. Der Service war freundlich und zuverlässig. Wir hatten mit unseren Schlüsselkarten zwar immer wieder Probleme, die wurden aber sofort an der Rezeption wieder behoben. Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe der Subway (Linie R), mit der man schnell nach Manhatten oder anderswohin kommt. Auch befinden sich in der Umgebung einige kleine Restaurants und Cafes...läuft man bis zur 7th Avenue sogar noch viele mehr. Leider wird in diesem Hotel - wie vermutlich in allen anderen auch - sehr viel Müll produziert... angefangen vom täglichen kompletten Handtuchwechsel bis zum Styropor-Teller und Pappbechern beim Frühstück. Insgesamt ist das Hotel wirklich sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man in New York nicht direkt neben einer Touristenattraktion in Manhatten übernachten möchte.

Great location near a subway - a ride to midtown Manhattan took about 20mins.. Hotel was clean and nice, good breakfast. Walls weren't sound proof so we heard the tv in the next room.

Close, great price

Every time we visit our son and his family in Brooklyn we stay at Super 8 because it is in a convenient location and the staff is competent and friendly AND the price is reasonable. The rooms are always clean. It surprises me when I see lower ratings online because we've not experienced any problems.

Hotel muy cercano a todo ampliamente recomendado

La recepción es pequeña, pero el hotel cumple con todos los requisitos para una excelente estancia, personal muy amable y muy atento, ubicado en un lugar seguro y a solo una cuadra de la estación de metro Unión st que comunica con todo Nueva York y el aeropuerto, el desayuno continental que incluye la habitación muy completo, las habitaciones no son muy grandes pero realmente no estábamos en todo el día así que fue bastante funcional... Lo recomiendo ampliamente y volvería a hospedarme sin dudarlo!

今回２日間の利用をした。中心地より宿泊料金が安かったのとブルックリン観光もしたかったのでこのホテルに決めた。メトロのR線（ユニオンストリート駅）が最寄りで基本的に混む事も無くマンハッタンへも快適な移動が出来きた。また２ブロック先にはパークスロープと呼ばれる５th ave沿いにはレストランや雑貨屋、などもあり立地的にはなか快適な場所にホテルがあったと」」」」思う。

Clean, comfortable and great location!

Spent 2 nights here recently and this hotel exceeded my expectations. Very clean, comfortable beds, and quite spacious bed / bath areas for NY. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Chose not to eat in the breakfast room, but was pleased with the in-room coffee maker and refrigerator. Was nervous about ability to park, but arrived at about 6:30 pm on a Friday night and found many of the 8 or so spaces behind the hotel to be vacant. They were filled quickly thereafter. But we were able to stay parked there during our weekend stay with no added charges. The area is great with many food stores, restaurants and bars in walking distance. I would stay there again and would definitely recommend it.

Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis!

Sauberes Mittelklassehotel. Das Frühstück ist sehr übersichtlich, wahrscheinlich typisch amerikanisch. Die Lautstärke von der Straße und auch manchmal vom Flur waren nachts um das Wochenende herum störend. Angenehmes Klima. Zur Weiterempfehlung auf jeden Fall geeignet.

Hotel en Brooklyn

Situado en el distrito de Brooklyn, muy cerca de la estación de Union St. con la que puedes acceder muy rápido al centro, a unos 30 minutos aproximadamente de Times Square. Alrededor del hotel no hay muchos servicios. Desayuno incluido: Tostadas, bagels, café, zumo, yogures...suficiente. Personal amable. Habitación limpia.

Very good overall. Great location for Subway. Hotel is good, clean and breakfast is basic but fine. Surrounding area is untidy, but didn't feel unsafe. Air-con worked but was noisy. Very loud ice machine on our floor but you get used to it. 8/10 from us.

Terrible experience

The entire hotel smelled like cigarettes. People were screaming, fighting, and slamming doors at all hours of the night and the walls were paper-thin so it sounded like people were standing right in our room screaming. We stayed for 2 nights and both nights we were woken up by what sounded like domestic violence at 1, 2, and 3 a.m. I tried to use the blowdryer in our room and it wasn't blowing air and then it started smoking like it was about to catch on fire. The bed was uncomfortable and felt like all the springs were broken. The TV only had 15 or so channels. When we arrived, the door to our room was propped open with a chair as if the custodians weren't finished cleaning it yet. They assured us it was ready for us even though it didn't seem like the bathroom had been cleaned. Overall, a terrible experience, especially for the rate. The price was just as expensive as other hotels in the area but the room and building were disgusting, dirty, and very disappointing.

The advertisement was falsely made

Got to hotel at 3pm registered wanted to go to room to drop off bags before going to our function, asked about parking because we were double parked in front of hotel, we were told there were no parking spaces available, that maybe later there would be some, we went to our function lucky thing the restaurant had a private parking area with an attendant since our bags were in the back of our suv and visible. Went to our function had a great time. We left at 11pm went to the hotel to park for the night parking lot still full, we drove around the corner for an hour waiting to see if we could find street parking, I'm originally from Brooklyn and know that is an impossible wish. That is why I chose the hotel because it stated parking available sure on the toss of your dice. After an hour someone left and we parked. Went to the front office to see if we needed a ticket to put on the car, the only thing I got was $20.00 for parking which I would have gladly paid if I had found a parking spot upon my arrival, but after wasting so much gas circling the block. That was the insult then the injury was next, he desk clerk said oh I see you rented a king smoking room, we don't have smoking rooms. That's when I blew up I was tired, and had to use a bathroom asked if they had one in the lobby, no only in the room. I told the clerk that out of the list of less expensive hotels in the area I chose theirs because the offered the two items I needed and wanted. The bed was hard n the pillow
