Our room was more expensive than we usually allow. It was very comfortable and clean, and quiet except for the unavoidable sirens. However, the shower head was a bit clogged and was not as comfortable as it might have been, and the heating wouldn't raise the temperature above 70 degrees. The desk staff and housekeeping staff were excellent, helpful, cooperative and pleasant. The concierge staff secured us a ride to the airport as we requested, but on three separate occasions over one long weekend, concierge staff simply ignored us--once where we were standing at their desk and they failed to acknowledge our presence until we chased them down, and on two occasions we were hauling our own bags and the staff simply ignored us and didn't offer to help. The upshot is we would stay there again, but we feel that the room was only worth about two-thirds of what we paid.

I really enjoyed my recent stay at the Manhattan Club. I decided to drive into the city rather than take the train or bus. Parking at the hotel could not have been easier or more reasonable for NYC ($35 a night). From check in to check out - everything was smooth and easy, and front desk staff were superb. I loved the room/suite, quite large, clean and comfortable. The shower was fabulous!!! I would stay at this place in a heartbeat if doing something on this end of town. I was in town to go to Carnegie Hall (my great-niece was singing in a choir performance). This location was one block to Carnegie Hall, one block to the Carnegie Cafe (extensive menu and reasonable), and one block to Central Park. There is a convenience store at the end of the block. Didn't go this time - but it is right around the corner from the Russian Tea Room, and a block away from a Nepali restaurant. The hotel location is also right off major street arteries where you could catch local busses to get to the theater district, Times Square, etc

1 It was terrible that we booked family room and gave all details of guest staying, yet when we arrived and unlike ALL other hotels we have stayed in, the room was not set up for all guests. The childrens bed was not set up ready for us...we were exhausted after travel and wanted to get the children to bed...we couldn't. When we made the hotel staff aware, wecwere told it was our responsibility to make extra beds!!!!! & that it would be a $40 charge if we wanted them to. These were not extra beds that we had just let them know about, it was beds that we booked from the begining with our stay and pre planned. Other than the above, the rooms were clean, although a bit dark. Very handy having the kitchen area and space.

Thank you for your feedback. While we try to meet the requests of every guests, we arent always able to. Being in midtown, it is difficult to eliminate all noise, but we do our best to mitigate it for anyone sensitive to it as best as possible!

It was right in the heart of Manhattan but at the same time secluded from all the noise and human traffic. The Property is impressive and Steven at the front desk was super awesome.

We traveled as a family of four with two tweens and booked a penthouse suite. Staff was wonderful and rooms were very clean and updated. Beds were very comfortable - even the pull-out sofa bed. Elevators were small but never had to wait terribly long. Only disappointments were dining options within the hotel (the bar/lounge area just had snacks and an ok continental breakfast - great bartender, though!) and we only got our turndown service with liquor on two nights - the other two we just received chocolates. We were really bummed the private terrace wasn’t open, but that was the weather’s fault. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent choice. Lots of space. Great staff. Good gym. Lots to do around the property. Near subway stations, Times Square, Central Park and Fifth Ave. Will stay here again. However, food options need significant improvement.

Property in good shape overall and staff very responsive. Only issues were: couldn’t see out the dirty windows, noises coming from old pipes and a leaky toilet. Also it takes time to get down using the elevator (frequently full). Otherwise room was clean, well stocked and having 2 bathrooms was great. Hotel in a Very convenient location. Walkable to Central Park, Time Square and Empire State Building. Also multiple subway stops nearby to get you to anywhere in Manhattan quickly. In addition, nearby to many stores and dining options.

I highly recommend and looking forward to returning. Great staff all around. Nice Queen suite with pullout couch. Has a really great area on 23rd floor used to allow guests to relax with bar and food available.

The room was not particularly clean but more importantly, it was 90 deg when I arrived and was told by reception that AC was not working and that I should open a window. I did this but the temperature did not go lower than around 80. Very uncomfortable and disappointing visit.

The staff was wonderful. Location is perfect - close to Central Park, Times Square, so many restaurants. Valet parking was perfect - nice and easy. Will definitely visit again the next time we're in New York.

It all seemed to be Suites rather than just a hotel room. Very spacious and comfortable. Property is centrally located so is convenient to many restaurants and shopping. For those interested, the hotel is adjacent to Carnegie Hall, and not too far from Lincoln Center, a plus for us.

Can not fault this property. Location unbeatable, staff so helpful & even though my style is more minimalist the one bedroom room is so big & comfortable, and offered so much privacy for me and my mum in a one bedroom suite with two bathrooms. I've been lucky enough to stay in some of New York's best hotels and I think I'll return here over all of them for the space and convenience . Thank you to the entire team.

The rooms are very spacious and the valet parking was easy and very reasonably priced. Awesome staff. The bellman, Joel was amazing. So personable and efficient. Would for sure stay here again.
