Overall it was a good experience. The morning of checkout left a not so good experience in my mind. I waited for over 20 minutes to have someone wait on me to get breakfast. After 20 minutes I checked out as I had a business function to be at. Not cool for the price I had to pay for a one night stay.
My room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The shopping center across the street offers several dining options, a movie theatre, and supermarket. Parking was easy. My only complaint is that the breakfast option at the hotel was an extra cost and unappealing.
Nothing was unique, rather poor service or poor customer relations

Upon arrival we couldn’t find a staff member to check us in. It was confusing. The staff member was in the lounge. When she did check us in she was quite unfriendly for someone working in the hospitality industry. She spoke to us in one word phrases with no niceties whatsoever, nor held any eye contact. This staff member was did not make our first impression to the Cambria brand a pleasant one. To be fair other staff members were significantly friendlier than the one we initially dealt with. I personally feel the cleaning policy ( of only cleaning rooms every third day) should be changed to make replenishing of room supplies every other day at minimum. Currently if you’re a guest who stays more than 1 night you have to ask for towels, coffee pods and towels daily (beyond your first night). I think replenishing of these supplies should be part of their standard service at least every other day. This should include replenishing coffee cups and pods, toilet paper, clean towels and bath mats along with emptying garbage and recycle receptacles. We stayed 5 nights ( which adds up to over $1000.00), yet after the first night I had to daily ask at the front desk for coffee cups. By our 3 rd day I had to request housekeeping for our room in order to replenish toilet paper, get clean towels and have our garbage/ recycling bins emptied. The hotel shouldn’t put their guests in that position. The rooms however were quite nice.
Hotel seemed relatively new, but yet was in a poor state of maintenance. In the two rooms that I booked, one had a bathroom door that wouldn't close all the way and was missing the coffee maker (but had coffee supplies). The other had a bathroom door that wouldn't stay open. The indoor pool did not seem to be available throughout our stay, but it was unclear why. Front desk staff were nowhere in sight during my early evening arrival, and unfriendly during other interactions.

This property is newer and modern. It was clean with the exception of a pillow case that looked like there was black dye on it. When I was arriving for check in, there was someone smoking marijuana in front of the entrance. The staff was pretty nice. I did have what sounded like a dog crying all night in a room next to me. The floors are thin because I could hear the people upstairs walking. Overall it was a good stay.

Sofa bed was dirty and the was stuff left in there from the previous guest , bed was very uncomfortable this was the first time I had experienced this at the Cambria,
We wanted to try a different hotel brand and we picked this one. Hotel was not bad but one thing we did not like was like we felt we were in a wooden place. What i mean by is that a lot of cracking noise all the time outside our room, we could hear steps from peope above us. Later in the afternoon we heard a lot of banging i guess against a wall, floor or ceiling somewhere near our room. I guess they were also bothered by noise. That lasted like 30-40 minutes.This is something that it wont change. The structure of the building is very flimsy. The a/c fan in the 1st room was very annoying, thank god we were able to turn the a/c off. Pretty bathroom, clean. Nice bed. Overall a good experience but not to come back.
We were told that check in was at 3pm. We arrived at the hotel around 5:50 pm, a little under 3 hours after the check-in time we were given. At the time of our arrival we were told that the hotel room had yet to be completed.
One of the things we researched both online and by direct phone contact with the hotel was the existence and availability of an indoor swimming pool during our stay. It was a priority in our booking requirements. The pool was unavailable for swimming.
Upon entering the room we smelled cigarette smoke and there was a plastic bag wrapped around the smoke detector with a rubber band. We had requested a non-smoking room in our reservation to accommodate my wife’s severe asthma.
The next thing we noticed was that the bathroom was unclean. There was both hair and what looked to be cigarette ashes stuck to the wall.
Overall the stay was unsatisfactory. We've filed a complaint.

We had a rough two night stay at this property. Their systems were down upon arrival (which I understand can happen) so we weren't issued keys, a manager just let us in our room and told us we would get keys later. Our room had a fairly significant toilet leak which produced water all over the floor. We had to move rooms and we were able to get working keys for that room. The next day we received no housekeeping service which was unexpected. The hotel was very loud with guests running up and down the halls until 2am. The staff was gracious dealing with things out of their control. Needs much better management.

Place was OK, staff was engaged. There was an issue with the wifi and we did not have a room key for our stay and the staff did not know when the issue would be fixed. None of this was their fault, but the company seemed to need to jump on this faster to help them.

The young lady Victoria at the front desk was extremely helpful. I was in New Jersey from Friday until Monday morning. At approximately 9:15 a.m. today…I walked to my car to place a garment bag and two other items. I pressed the key fob button and nothing happened. Wow, I was out of town and couldn’t get into my car. Subsequently, I went back into the hotel & Victoria assisted me with storage of my bags and so much more. I watched a YouTube video on how to diagnose the problem. Shortly thereafter, I we in me vehicle heading back home to Maryland! Many thanks! 😊

The only issue I had was cleanliness. Which honestly I suspected. It seemed they were stalling to check us in the room because they were cleaning it when we arrived. There were used eye lashes on the floor and AC vent. There was also crumbs all over the couch and floor. There was also hair and dirt particles in the shower. Made my stay a little uncomfortable because it made me question the cleanliness of everything but other than that the hotel was cool.

The only reason I am giving 4 stars is due to the onsite restaurant being closed my whole stay. One of the reasons I booked at this location is I would have dining available and not need to use DoorDash/uber.
The bar opened at 5 pm daily but for drinks only.

Spacious room, comfy beds, pillows, and linens, safe, clean, convenient parking. Close to Kessler Rehab center and not far from Cooperman Barnabas Hospital. Food, Starbucks , and movie theater nextdoor Easy check in and out. Will definitely be back!

No complaints at all. Loved our King Studio style room. Quiet, safe and cozy. Friendly staff. I don't typically review but for the price, the quality staying here is was worth a solid review.
