If you are realistic about your expectations you will find this property perfectly acceptable. Outstanding staff and rates. Rooms are dated but I believe a work in progress and acceptable. Great location, pool, hot tub and laundry facility.

No frills, but certainly a very affordable option. If you are on a budget and don’t expect “The Ritz” this is certainly a good option. The staff is outstanding, by any standards, I must say. I also believe they are working on improving the rooms themselves, but as I mentioned, if you are realistic about your expectations it is just fine! Beautiful pool and hot tub outside as well!

I booked this room because I just needed a cheap place to sleep for a bit. Then I read the reviews… I was a bit intimidated after that. But honestly, it wasn’t as bad as I feared. I mean, in no way would I describe it as “nice”, but I didn’t see any evidence of bugs. (I really looked for both roaches and bedbugs and saw nothing to indicate any issues.) I also was concerned that there would be all sorts of neer-do-wells hanging around but there were none. I felt safe personally and I felt safe with my car in the lot. The room was very basic - no art on the walls or anything like that. It was just a couple of beds with sheets that did appear clean and a basic little bathroom which did appear pretty clean too. The walls/doors were a bit dirty and the tile in the bathroom looked like it had been partially replaced with mismatched other tile but hey, it was a super cheap place to stay in one of the most expensive areas of the U.S.! I wouldn’t look forward to staying here again, but I would, in a pinch.

From the moment we parked we knew it wasn’t gonna be a pleasant place! Outside the lobby there’s was man passed out on the side of the door I felt unsafe 2 the room was dirty it smelled like smoke bathroom had mold and yellow stains the walls had red stains everywhere. Never staying here ever again!

If i could put 0 star i would, the hotel room has holes in the wall, Cucaracha‘s everwhere in the room, dirt in the floor, drunk people with a druga smell around you and noisy all night, stay away you might get a disease from this place.

The room had roaches I asked the front desk to switch our room they told us to wait until the morning I told them this is unacceptable they changed our room and the room they moved us to has roaches as well

My “non-smoking” room was definitely a smoking room. My clothes smell so bad of cigarettes from one night there. The bath tub dripped non-stop so I left the tv on all night to try to help drown out the noise. I would have closed the bathroom door but I literally didn’t have one.. You couldn’t pay me enough to use that shower barefoot. AC unit didn’t work. There was a large crack in the door going outside. The only good thing I’ll say is the staff was nice. There’s a reason this place is so cheap. You get what you pay for.

Looked like someone cooked a batch of meth in the bathtub. Manager refused to change rooms citing extra expense. I didn’t want a refund, just a functional tub! Wanted my kid to put towels down to hide the tub when they showered. I’ll be calling alameda public health to order an inspection. Also found dirty tissue behind the trash can…smh

"hotel gone broke"
The front-desk person was courteous and helpful. The room was "horrible": 1) heater was broken 2) phone was broken so unable to call front desk 3) bed had fitted, which was over-laid with THIN blanket which was then covered by a fitted sheet ... there was NO comforter or bedspread ... so I folded the fitted sheet and THIN blanket to keep warm as there was NO heat 4) door to bathroom was semi-broken 5) front-door lock was semi-broken

Not clean, a difficult problem of reluctance to invest. There is not even a heater to make a cup of tea, no refrigerator works, the air conditioner barely works. There is none. . Feel like showering in the shower it looks so bad I do not recommend anyone to come to this place

It's got to be the worst motel I've ever been in it's infested with roaches it's not half the time it's not even clean this time as I was taking my luggage out of the car to and from I came in and there was a black man sitting in my f****** chair in my room I didn't even know this man he was just in there like this thing to do I had to run them out you know they're rude they're rude yeah you know they're just I don't even know how they're still in business I would not go there again
