"Echoing many of the reviews already shared, the closeup view of Lake Michigan is impressive whether you're inside the home or lounging outside on the great wraparound deck. Depending on the weather, you can get beautiful bright blue calm water to raging waves crashing on the shoreline frontage. Fortunately, our 3-day stay was very nice with great sunny weather and mostly calm water that made our overall visit so much more enjoyable. "Regularly my group uses this location for our supervisor teambuiling training. The space provides an area to share meals, hold training, sleep and socialize. The host is available whenever needed. The home is clean and has all the amenities you can think of. In fact, the game room lets us be a kid again! Great location and space!"

We encourage the property owner to give the place a thorough deep clean and potentially update some furniture. The home was fine for our 2 and 4 year old kids, but not ideal for a crawling baby. The place has great potential with minor improvements! Thank you!"

"My son was racing double duty at Road America and Dirt City for the weekend. It was stressful, but this crazy cute house made the stress much more bearable! This house has new everything and is really comfortable. It was also immaculate and even had accommodations for our dog including a crate if we needed. Check in/out was simple and seamless. Linens were fully stocked and there was plenty of everything. We will love to stay here again."

"My wife and I along with my parents had a nice weekend getaway. Very quiet and relaxing. Used the grill to grill burgers and kitchen for morning breakfast. Bring your own KCups for coffee. Really nice getaway. Everything went really smooth. And if you like to eat out lots in the area. We ate at Majerle's Black River Grill and enjoyed it."

"Pictures were accurate. If you have a large group would advise bringing larger pans for cooking as the ones here were small and limited in numbers. The water softener would probably help eliminate or minimize the sulfur smell from the water, however, there was no salt in the brine tank to make it work. So if that is a concern I would also advise bringing bottled water. We stayed here for my daughter’s wedding and it was very convenient. Also host was very prompt in response times."

"First the bad: The facility is aged and in dire need of updating. Chairs in the bistro/bar are worn and almost have the filler exposed. The carpets are old and worn, TV in room couldn't get half of the "available channels", and one elevator didn't work all weekend. Now the great: The staff!! From Lore at check-in and check-out to Erika in the bistro/bar the staff were amazing. They were engaged, friendly and helpful. They were personable and amazing to deal with regardless of the ask.
