3-min to Linville Falls. Beautiful home-3 BDRMs on 13 acres. Best breakfast.

Come and stay at this 4400 sq ft home on 13 private acres. Forests and gardens surround you with a view of Grandfather Mountain, only minutes from Linville Falls, Linville Gorge, and Parkway. See pics.
We accept only one booking at a time, providing lots of privacy whether 1 or 6 guests are in your party. (Please list all guests, Thank you)
The house is cozy and artistic. There's a beautiful large flagstone patio with a pond and flowers. Over the last 3 years, we've renovated the house, spending $400,000 to make it a warm experience. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are available on the upstairs floor (one with a view of Grandfather Mountain). Enjoy the downstairs, large living room with fireplace, dining room, and additional bathroom exclusively for your use.
My husband & I are located on the other side of the house in our private section downstairs, allowing the main house for your privacy.
This is a B & B. In the morning, I become your private chef and provide a SUPER DELICIOUS organic breakfast w/ our own chicken eggs, veggies, chicken breakfast sausages/or free-range bacon, bagels, berries, great coffee, etc. Weather permitting, I serve breakfast outside on the patio.
We also have excellent wifi, and movie streaming is no issue. We have a TV with access to Netflix and a DVD player with DVDs.
There is a small refrigerator for guests. We provide towels and sheets, shampoo, etc.
In addition to the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, we have a Tao's sofa downstairs in the living room that opens up to 2 separate full-size single beds. There Is another private full-size bathroom off the living room.
The stovetop and oven in the kitchen are available for limited use. Heat something pre-made or something simple, pizza or make sandwiches, tea, coffee, and snacks. 3 min from the house is the Famous Louise's Restaurant where they serve lunch and dinner - everything is home-cooked - I love the fish and chips there. Open Wed-Sun.
11 min from the house, The Tin and Trout,' Fresh trout delivered daily. Open Wed through Saturday, hrs 11 - 8.
Banner Elk is 25 min away with many good restaurants.
In addition to the all-inclusive breakfast, we can provide gourmet meals for a reasonable price if we know in advance. We can offer eggplant or beef spaghetti with a delicious mixed green salad, my in-house garlic bread, a bottle of wine, and, to wrap it up, a few scoops of Ben and Jerry's or natural sorbet. We buy organic, free-range beef from a local farm down the road ( you couldn't get healthier), with virgin olive oil and good-quality parmesan—$40 per person. Another alternative is a burger meal (meat from the local farm), two different salads - (mixed green and Waldorf salad), home fries, a bottle of wine, and, to wrap it up, a few scoops of Ben and Jerry's or natural sorbet. -$40 per person.
***We have three well-behaved dogs on the property. They have access to our side of the house and the outside. Our crazy 3-year-old malamute, Koda, will offer the free service as a leash-less tour guide. He'll take you for a forest walk around the property. Just say the magic word, 'walkies,' and off he goes. We also have free-ranging chickens.
This unique home is in a wonderful estate, surrounded by gardens and forests, creating a peaceful destination. We aim to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

A mountain oasis!
A perfect home for a mountain getaway. Tanya was welcoming, communicative, and the most generous host. She ensured that we had coffee and breakfast every morning before we headed out for long days celebrating my sister's wedding in the area. Tanya's home was clean, quiet, and a fantastic home base for our long weekend (with incredible views of Grandfather Mountain as a bonus!). I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

5 star stay near Linville!
The photographs don't do this beautiful property justice...it is very spacious and ultra clean. My wife, two friends and I had a relaxing stay...one of the best parts of stay was hosts, Tanya and Rob, were so friendly! Oh, and the breakfast Tanya prepared each morning for us was so delicious! We kicked back by the fire each evening when we returned from sight seeing and just had the best time. Fun to meet the dogs, Koda and Mazzy, as well. We definitely want to go back next year!!

Traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway
If you’re traveling on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and looking for your next getaway, you may have just found it. Located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, this beautiful home is a perfect place to unwind and rest and style. Our host, Tanya was very quick to respond with any questions that we had. She also treated us to a wonderful home cooked breakfast, for a perfect start to the day. This was by far the easiest five star review that I’ve had the pleasure of doing, and certainly well-deserved.

Genuine Hospitality and Quality place
This place was perfect for our first night as a married couple. The downstairs is open with plenty of seating and areas to spend time with your loved ones. Upstairs is where you’ll find three bedrooms, all very nicely decorated and comfortable. In the morning the host, Tanya made us a lovely breakfast, with quality, fresh ingredients. She was welcoming, and excited to spend a little time getting to know us, but respectfully gave us some time to enjoy breakfast alone. If you get the chance to stay here, absolutely do it! We wish so much that we had more time here, and hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

AMAZING stay and host.
Our newlywed daughter and husband enjoyed an exceptional stay following their wedding at Wiseman’s View. The accommodations were wonderful and Tanya the host is outstanding. She prepared their post wedding dinner which was delicious. She also provided a small wedding cake for the couple from an excellent nearby bakery. Her breakfast of homemade crepes, maple chicken sausage and French press coffee was a wonderful surprise. Tanya is absolutely the most accommodating and delightful host. (Along with her adorable dogs) I would highly recommend this accommodation and Tanya!

The BEST host ever!!!
Tanya is the greatest! My daughter and her bridesmaids stayed with Tanya the night before her wedding. Tanya made an amazing breakfast that dazzled all the girls. They had never had anything like it. She also provided a scrumptious lunch with the best homemade hummus, quac and a salad with her own vinaigrette. The breads and croissants were complimented with delicious meats, cheeses and her homegrown tomatoes. She was extremely helpful and so sweet while everyone prepared for the wedding. One of the girls described her as Mary Poppins as she floated around the kitchen making delightful surprises. It was the perfect location with the perfect host!

Amazing home
Tanya was the most gracious host, I mean besides her sweet malamutes, Koda and Maisy, who greeted us upon arrival. The home is spacious and nicely appointed with various sitting areas on the main level. Bedrooms on the second level were spacious with very comfortable beds. Everything is perfectly clean and the decor is well designed. The breakfast that Tanya prepared (eggs, bacon, sheep’s milk cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt) was delicious, even more so eating on the outside patio. You can’t go wrong here, really, and I am not someone who usually writes reviews.

Absolutely Glorious!
My best friend and I wanted to stay in a home for the purpose of reading during the day (no talking) and then talking about what we read while eating out at night. It was important to us that we stay in a home where we could feel like we were 'outside' even if the weather was bad and we needed to stay 'inside.' This home looked perfect. The fact that this home boasted breakfast, as well as dog-guided hiking around the property, sealed the deal for us. It was absolutely wonderful. The food that Tanya makes has not gotten enough credit in these reviews! Our 3 breakfasts were amazing and we had her make us dinner one night and it was fabulous, as well. The home is spacious, clean, comfortable, full of natural light, and beautiful! (I automatically ruled out any home that had bear quilts on the beds - not my vibe.) The roof has an overhang so the windows can be open even when it's raining. We had the windows open the entire time we were there. The surrounding area is so quiet, we heard so many birds and enjoyed listening to the chickens scratch and cluck and peck. We plan to come back. Tanya and her home provided everything we were looking for and more.

Beautiful home, exceptionally clean.
This home should be advertised as an B&B. The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruits, cheeses and wonderful scrambled eggs and sausage. The king bed was comfortable. I am a sheet snob and it took me a few minutes to get use to the flannel sheets. Wish there were a tv in the master as we like our privacy. The hostess has taken great efforts in the details of this home. Your stay will be remembered well after you depart your stay here.
