I wanted a weekend getaway and this was perfect
The location was great, size was perfect, everything I could expect and more. The view was amazing. Bed slept well for my back issues. Had plenty of hot water when needed. Parking was at the front door so didn’t have to haul luggage very far. Neighbor was very friendly and informative about the area. Realtor answered all questions prior to arrival. I would definitely stay here again and have suggested this to others who may want to vacation in the Crossnore area.

Cute little cabin
Stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday. It was the perfect little cabin for two - quaint and homey furnishings plus a stocked kitchen and a bowl of candy provided by the host! We loved the location right next to the river, and there were plenty of other activities within a short drive. Can't wait to stay there again.

Cozy Cottage
This is a very cozy cottage next to the Linville River. It’s just the right size for two adults. The cottage is a studio setup and does have a pull out sofa bed, but I’m not sure where the coffee table could be moved to in order to provide space to pull out the sofa bed. The kitchen has a nice selection of cookware and dishes, so we were able to enjoy most of our meals there. My favorite part of the cottage was being able to crack the back door open and hear the river…it’s very relaxing. The cottage is close to the Linville Falls winery, Linville Falls, Linville gorge and Blowing Rock, so there are many things to do.

perfectly convevient
building a house in the area - have spent kast several summers in an RV while working on the property - now that construction is in progress we have made several trips back to check progress and since the RV is winterized and unusable it is so convenient to have such a nice place to stay so close to our property - quite sure we will recommend to friends and family who come to visit
