Perfect stay for your getaway with friends!

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend this year with friends visiting from Europe. The patio and Duffy boat are great for hanging out enjoying the water. Perfect location for exploring nearby beaches. Friendly hosts Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Spot

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Judy was so kind and genuinely welcoming. After check in, we had total privacy and used the Duffy Boat and bikes multiple times per day. The location is great. We will definitely be back.

A couple days away

We loved this location. The accommodations were cute and clean. Judi and Nuel were helpful and friendly. We truly enjoyed the bikes and Duffy boat that were available for us.

Felt welcome from the first email contact and the hosts were absolutely lovely... brought the kids fresh fruit and took us for a boat ride to show us around before we went out ourselves ( at our request). Accommodations were great and location can't be beat. Highly recommend.

Reunion weekend

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint condo! We had a parking space, a Duffy boat to wander around the bay, and a patio to enjoy the Calif summer, plus much more!

Great harbor/beach stay!

Nice 2bd/1ba upstairs unit setup in a great location on the harbor, 1.5 blocks from the beach, and close to the main PCH/Newport Blvd/Balboa Ave main roads around Newport Beach. Extra amenities like kayaks, SUPs, and electric boat to cruise around the harbor made a fun spot even more enjoyable for the kiddos!!

AMAZING!

This is our new vacation spot and we are already planning next's years trip. The Bensons were amazing to work with and took care of our family above and beyond anything we could have asked for. The location is about a 3 minute walk to beach and in a great location. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone going to Newport!!!!

Wonderful Newport waterfront apartment.

Such a great location to stay ! Close to Great restaurants, shopping and beaches . Very comfortable and the most lovely hosts. It was so wonderful to have the use of the Duffy boat . Two great nights viewing the Christmas boat parade . Would definitely stay there again .

Best vacation ever!

This was the most magnificent vacation of all time. The stay on the bay was such a bonus, and just a few blocks from the beach. The duffy boat, kayaks, and paddle boards were so much fun! There is a parking spot in front of the garage. And the owners, Nuel and Judi are so incredible

Spring Getaway

We loved it & plan to return. It was fun exploring in the duffy & we spent a lot of time at the beach just a short walk away. This is the perfect location to stay and make day trips to Crystal Cove, Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach and the Queen Mary. Judy & Nuel were so kind & helpful with tips about local restaurants that we could walk to.

Prime location

The location is perfect with everything in walking distance. We liked having the Duffy, paddle boards and bikes. It gave my family lots of options for individual activities. We enjoyed our stay. It was our second time at this place. We’d stay there again. The hosts are wonderful people.

Quiet cozy quality on the back canal!

Judi and Nuel are gracious hosts, providing amenities to make guests feel at home. The Duffy, the two nice bikes, the gas grill, the two beach chairs and more were super nice to have use of.

Judy welcomed us in person with full access to patio, bikes, kayaks & Duffy Boat… and birthday cupcakes for my husband. Accommodations are excellent & the Duffy boat scenic cruising throughout Balboa was a high point. You can park the Duffy in public areas & many shopping districts have free boat parking as well. Judy baked my husband a bday cake on day 2 - never have had a more hospitable & friendly host experience. Walking distance to restaurants, shops & beaches. There is so much to do, even our teenagers loved it & never once reported being bored (huge victory!). We look forward to future visits & Balboa / Newport get-a-ways!

Our favorite vrbo away from home.

We have stayed at this place I believe 3-4 times and it is always our favorite. The host are beyond amazing. We love seein them. They always give a warm welcoming. We love to take the boat out on the water. And the kids love riding there bikes and exploring the neighborhood or visiting the park right next door to the house.

Great location and access to water activities

Judy and Nuel are great hosts. The property backs up against the peninsula, with full access to the Duffy boat, kayaks, and standup paddle boards. Property includes a barbecue in the back yard, kitchenette area, single bathroom, and two rooms. The beach is a few blocks over, and groceries and restaurants are close by. Book it, you’ll enjoy it!

Only communication was through a landline, the TV only worked one of the nights we were there, it was weird coming down to the patio, and knowing we were potentially being watched. Overall, the location was great, and the Duffy boat was fun, but I would not recommend this property.

Wonderful Hosts and Quiet Area

The hosts are very personable and kind. Having easy access to the Duffy was wonderful for the boat parade. The Duffy is clean and ready to go at any time during your stay. It can seat up to 12 people.The unit is very clean and well appointed. It is upstairs with a street view, but the hosts give full access to the beautiful patio directly on the water. It's great for having breakfast or dinner and has use of the BBQ as well.There were more than enough towels and bedding. In addition, there are plenty of kitchen supplies along with a microwave and toaster/convection oven.

Thanksgiving Trip

This location was perfect for our Thanksgiving visit. We have family in the area and this cute, efficient apartment was just right and close to everything. We only used the duffy once but it was very enjoyable. If you don't need to cook, this apartment works very well.

Husband’s Birthday

Stayed in the apartment 9/6/24 thru 9/9/24. Very small but if you’re only there to sleep and take a shower it’s perfect for 4 adults. The owners are downstairs but they were very nice. Use the electric boat 2 times. That was very fun. Easy to drive. Take lunch or drinks with you on the boat.
