The Embarcadero Resort Hotel & Marina sits just over a mile east of a public beach access point at the Yaquina Bay State Recreation Site. This was a great place. Perfect for our family of four. The bathroom door was the most disappointing thing in the whole condo. If needs to be replaced. But otherwise we absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Great bridge and bay views

We definitely enjoyed having a beautiful view on our vacation. Although the place was well worn it was still in good shape. Only real complaint was no door to toilet to close. I ended up buying a tension curtain rod and curtains and hung them up, worked well to give privacy from adults and kids. We enjoyed walking the pier and into shops just down the street.

Lovely little condo

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It had a wonderful view and was conveniently located to the shops and aquarium. The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. We wished we had booked it longer.

It's a great place for family. Great view. All our stuff was safe. Lots of things to do right on the property. Needs some minor repairs on paint dry wall and carpets and chairs are in need of a good cleaning.

Cute get away

Adorable little apartment with the cutest view! You could hear the sea lions and the sun set was amazing. Good prices, my kids loved the indoor pool. I’d recommend staying there. Very cute

Very Peaceful

Parking was great, but there are stairs on the way to the condo so it isn't completely accessible. The view of the bay is incredible. We came for a relaxing birthday weekend; we listened to the rain outside, watched tv, walked to the historic bayfront for coffee, and even made a cake. I would love to stay here again.

Gets the job done.

It was a good stay for sure but privacy for the restroom wasnt ideal. Door is janky. Beds are very uncomfortable. Thin and sunken in. It definitely gets the job done for a short stay. Kids loved the pool area of course. Easy check in and nice location close walk to the bay front and drive to other beaches near by. Overall we enjoyed our stay but wouldn't rebook for this place in particular especially with a family.

View is Fabulous!

Overall the property is very nice. The maids need to spend a few more minutes to ensure they are done. There was a half eaten cookie under the coffee table, and about a summer's worth of hair clogging up the drain in the bath. The kitchen is out fitted with just about everything you need. It was nice to cook breakfast in and save a little $ for dinner time.

This condo is cute and in a nice location, walking distance to the historic bayfront of Newport. However, the condo itself is a little dated and the bathroom in particular needs updating. Our room keys did not work consistently, and we struggled to access the pool area with them. The condo has a great view of the harbour and was comfortable for our family of four.

It was not too clean..dishes left in dishwasher. Bathroom toilet makes noise and hard to flush..black mold around tub. 1 pan was gr needscupdatedeasy in cupboard. Dirt on wall of stove..i cleaned.

Comfort and Views

The two-bedroom condo is comfortable, with all the amenities of home. The views are spectacular, looking out over the marina with the bridge in the distance. Sunsets were amazing. The only negatives: the internet connection was a bit intermittent, so the Roku and Smartcast TV didn't work well; and the bathroom is kind of a weird setup, with the toilet and shower behind a sliding door. All closets have curtains, rather than doors. But overall, the experience was great.

Property needs repair

The townhouse was in a good location. Unfortunately, it's in need of some updating and deep cleaning. The carpets were dirty, grease in the oven, paint worn, damage to woodwork, bathroom pocket door that doesn't work properly, and mattresses that were old and uncomfortable. Odd layout with the bathroom sink & vanity in an area wide open to the hallway. It depends on who you're traveling with as to whether or not it wouldve comfortable - lacks any privacy at the bathroom sink. The toilet & shower area are very compact, not a lot of room to dress in there. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this property nor would I rent it again.

Embarcadero Newport Oregon

This property was the worst VRBO condo I have ever stayed in. In the current state it should not be rented. Filthy carpet, dents in walls, paint and plater repairs neede throughout, generally in need of paint, blind in bedroom falling apart, pocket door in bathroom barely slides and doesn’t close, bedroom doors don’t close, several fogged up windows, mildew in shower, Internet router location in bedroom make TV in living room useless. A horrible experience and an embarrassment to our guests.

Location Location Location

The location, view, and washer dryer in condo were the saving grace on this listing. We did not get to use the pool, hot tub, or spa. We made the reservation back in December but were only notified two weeks prior to our arrival that they were going to be closed during our stay. I did complain as we choose this property for those amenities as we were taking our grandchildren and now way too late to find another property, they refunded us 100 for the inconvenience. Overall the condo itself was a bit disappointing there was debris when I went to pulled out the bed in the couch and no sheets had been provided. We got 1 washcloth, 2 hand towels, 3 bath towels, and 2 pool towels. The next day when I called to inquire about sheets and washcloths they did drop them off however keep in mind the property was expecting 5 guests this wasn't some surprise we would need these items. There were huge lint balls in the laundry on the floor. The bed in master room was flat, and squeaked with every move. There were numerous stains on the floor in the master bedroom and the comforter on the bed had a huge rip in it. Also the kitchen is very sparsely stocked. Although listing says it accommodates 6 there was only enough mugs and cereal bowls for 3 people. Also think salt, pepper, garlic salt, and steak seasoning. The bathroom door doesn't close fully and I guess no matter how many guests or how long the stay you only are provided 2 additional rolls of toilet paper. Both ottomens stained.
