Located in the heart of Bristol's Historic District, the Sailor's Loft is a second floor studio apartment in a restored carriage house on the grounds of an historic 1824 federal house. With sweeping views of Bristol Harbor, the Sailor's Loft is just steps away from downtown Bristol's shops, antique stores and fine restaurants.

The studio is perfect in every way. A very comfortable bed, the kitchen had all we needed, a nice size bathroom, plenty of seating, and the ac/ceiling fan kept the temperature just right. Great spot in a lovely historic town

Very large, bright, and clean room and bathroom. Quiet location though there was a nearby event going on during our stay. Some great restaurants and real coffee right around the corner. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights while attending a 2 day wedding in Newport (40min drive). We loved the place. Great water view and nice quiet town with abundant restaurants and walks along the harbor, etc. Highly recommended.

I love this property

Beautiful, spotless, private, gorgeous gardens to look at. Peaceful and seconds from coffee, restaurants and a beautiful waterfront park. I had to bring a mattress topper because of a back issue so I can’t comment on the bed. I will always ask to stay here when I go to RI!

Pure joy in Bristol

We always have such a great time in this location, beaches, parks, beautiful docks. Fantastic restaurants and morning coffee. This garage apartment is nice and cool, nice bathroom and kitchen. Not a single complaint, thank you so much. Can’t wait to stay again!

Wedding Weekend!

If you have any friends or loved ones getting married in Bristol this spot was absolutely perfect. Walkable to the wedding venues, several restaurants and bars, right by the water. Host was kind, communicative, and extra helpful. If we make it back to Bristol anytime soon, this is the only place we wanna stay! Larger than the pictures do justice!

“Stunning”is a bit hyperbolic

My wife and I spent three satisfactory day and nights in the loft. The furnishings are a bit austere and the bed is creaky but the location is great and the parking worked out well. It was also adequately supplied for quick meals. Overall, it was pleasant if not spectacular.

Perfect Getaway

My spouse and I spent the weekend and it was perfect. There were many restaurants with a very short walk, bike path and water was visible from the apartment. Checkin and communication were easy. The kitchen was perfect for our leftovers and the space was perfect to hang out in between meals/outtings. We had a fantastic time and would love to come back!

Great little studio

We were in town for a wedding and the rental was perfect for us. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and everyone was friendly and helpful. We didn’t cook in the kitchen but it seemed well equipped for fixing a simple meal. Very nice to have off-street parking. I wish we’d had more time to explore the town, it was charming. Cara is friendly, helpful and easygoing. We were very pleased with our short stay.

We recently stayed at this property and the description matches perfectly. However, I was not expecting to find that the owners have created a stunning garden right by our walkway with brick paths throughout. What a perfect start to our 3 days at this very spacious apartment, just a block from Narragansett Bay, viewed through the living area windows. The apartment is clean, well organized and comfortable. It is located on the main street in Bristol, with a variety of restaurants within walking distance. We were also impressed with the drivers who were incredibly courteous for everyone wanting to cross streets. This apartment is within a couple miles of Colt St. Park-a gorgeous area along the bay, about 2 miles from Blithewold Manor and its beautiful gardens and it is close to Rail Explorers, a 6-mile stretch of repurposed railway track on which you can pedal along Narragansett Bay. Lots to see and do, historic buildings, a beautiful Library and this community has to be tops nationally in celebrating America's birthday-simply incredible! The property owners are very friendly and have created a great getaway. We thank you for your hospitality.
