  • Nestled among the trees near the slopes of Sunday River Resort, this cozy home makes a wonderful base for adventure all year long. You'll be less than a mile from Sunday River's White Cap Lodge (and the White Cap Quad and Little White Cap Quad Lifts) and barely over a mile from the main resort base area.

    Skier, hiker, or snowboarder, you'll feel right at home at this two-story cottage, ideally situated between the small towns of Newry (five miles north) and Bethel (five miles south). In addition to Sunday River's eight interconnected peaks and 53 miles of trails, you'll find the Sunday River Bridge, the Sunday River Swim Area, and the Sunday River Golf Club within four miles. Grafton Notch State Park (14 miles) and the Androscoggin River are easily accessible as well.

    As you return from your daily excursions, you can easily remove and stash your outdoor gear in the heated, wood-paneled mud room. Moving inside, you'll be greeted by a window-lined living room where you can kick back on soft sofas, toast your toes by the gas fireplace, and stream your favorite movies on TV.

    On winter evenings, use stainless steel kitchen appliances to prepare hearty dinners. Come summer, there's a gas grill on the patio for barbecues beneath the stars. Enjoy the convenience of high-speed WiFi, a private washer/dryer, and a second smart TV in the primary bedroom upstairs.

Nice house and great location!

This was a wonderful place to stay with close proximity to the mountain - and an added bonus is that it is dog friendly! We met a lot of nice neighbors and enjoyed walking the connecting roads and trails when we weren't skiing at Sunday Rover!

Right down the street from Sunday River. Perfect after a day of skiing/riding! Close, cozy and convenient to all Newry and Bethel have to offer.

Perfect Ski Getaway

This house was exactly what we had hoped for! Very close to the mountain and popular restaurants. We loved the warm mushroom for all of the snow and ski gear. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. We are already looking to book again next year!

This house was perfect. We had a wonderful week in this home and it provided so much joy and comfort. We had not so great weather and were so glad we had this home to retreat to when the skiing did not go our way. You cannot ask for better accommodations near Sunday River. My family will be back every year!

We loved this cozy cottage. Very close to Sunday River and Bethel for restaurants and XC. We enjoyed the gas stove when we came back from a cold day on the slopes and the mud room was perfect for keeping our boots warm overnight. Stackable washer/dryer in the downstairs bedroom was convenient.

The home was really clean and nice. It was perfect for our family with two young children and a dog. The home is super-convenient to get to Sunday River in just a few minutes. The only issue was the keyed lock on the door. It usually took about 5 times to get it to work. Having 9 numbers to remember is ridiculous. Try getting younger children to remember a 9-digit code for a door that automatically locks! The code failed mostly half way through entering the 9-digit code correctly. On about the 5th try it would work. EVERY TIME. We ended up leaving the door partially open when we went out for walks so that we didn't risk getting locked out.

The positives, the home is very close to Sunday River, the home was spacious for our family and the bathroom soaps were nice. The negatives, terrible communication. We could not get into rental at first and there was no one to get a hold of. The phone number provided is an automated system and our messages went unanswered for days! Tv didn’t work at first, code on door kept malfunctioning and there was no ice melt to use on steps. Overall we will not stay again with this company even though the house was adequate for our needs.
