The rooms are nice but in areas they show their age. The staff are excellent. The bar is nice and the parking is fantastic. It's a gem of a hotel in Niagara Falls but it could be a diamond. It's the little things that being it down from a 5 star experience. Someone should do a room by room and address the cleanliness - scrub the walls and check all of the sheets. In addition there was water damage in our bathroom that looks like it just needs some TLC and maybe a remodel. The longer it's left unaddressed - the bigger the problem becomes. I would recommend this hotel based on the staff alone - they are extremely polite and professional.

My husband and I really appreciate 1920’s architecture and updated comforts. This beautiful hotel has both. Front desk was always very helpful, housekeeping was great, Kevin in the bar served these 2 hungry travelers early with delicious appetizers and interesting conversation, and Dave in the extraordinary breakfast room was a hoot. The lounge rooms were beautiful, and the 19th floor offered amazing view of the nightly fireworks. The only suggestion might be to have snacks available during the day, since there are no stores close by.

We arrived early and was greeted by the nightshift worker. Name starts w/MShe was literally amazing! She got us set up in a temporary parking spot and gave us so much literature. So kind and helpful.All the staff was amazing and helpful.This place treats you like family!And the 19th floor lounge is spectacular Not to mention EVERYTHING is in walking distance.

My wife and I booked a special get away to The Giacomo near Niagara Falls mainly going off the pictures. We are always picky and this hotel and staff is amazing. It's a beautiful place and fit us to a T. We have nothing but great things to say. Lenny was very professional and helpful throughout the process. Even after we were home from the trip. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel. We will certainly return. The pictures were taken from our room.

Spacious room on the 5th floor. Can see the nightly fireworks from room. lounge located on the 19th floor that offers a great view and place to hang out. Host was great to work with and answered all questions timely. Breakfast included was a bonus. Parked car when we arrived and walked everywhere- even walked bridge into Canada- which was 1.25 per person to cross. Do both sides of the falls- they offer different perspectives and experiences. Many nearby restaurants (again walkable) we ate at Everest Microbrewery and Steelbound Brewery- would recommend to eat here. Great place to stay. Staff at front desk super nice and friendly.

It was a great location -loved seeing fireworks from our room . The only comment we would have is that we like to sit and read and watch tv in bed and having the lights and tv turn off several times was weird. I read that you had that feature but didn’t realize it applied to when we were in room. The hosts were very helpful as well Thanks

The property was perfectly close to everything; the ladies at the check-in desk were fantastic; and the sweet treats were delicious. We loved the authentic homie-ness of the property, too. My only constructive suggestion is to have newer crisp bedding sheets. They were fine but could use new life. Thank you for making this trip a memorable experience.

The "hotel-condo" room was fantastic; had a Wow factor. Very big and roomy (except for the drape hooks that are easy to bump into due to the proximity to the edge of the bed. I have a bruise to prove it).The "hotel-condo" lobby staff were very friendly as were all the employees.I would definitely consider staying here again. We loved the fact that the location was pleasant (safe) and that there were restaurants within walking distance. The falls and the border were close as well!PS. I recommend that the owners or management figure out why the TV remotes are not working properly.

Loved this hotel! Literally 2 minute walk to the Niagara Falls welcome center. The bed was so comfy we didn’t want to get out of it. Huge walk in shower, easy and safe parking. There is a small grassy area to the right of the building where we could walk our two dogs. Enough space for them to use the bathroom. Would absolutely stay here again!
