Nelles Cottage on the Park, Backs onto Park

Charming and beautifully appointed, Nelles Cottage is the perfect place for a romantic and memorable retreat. This home has been recently updated and features all the modern conveniences and a lovely front porch.



The house backs onto Veteran's Memorial Park and the Commons and a gate in the back fence provides quick, easy access - perfect to enjoy the many scenic walking and biking trails, tennis courts, community swimming pool, beach volleyball court, playground, and soccer fields. Prices are subject to change daily.



-3 Bedrooms – 2 King beds and 1 Queen bed

-2 Bathrooms – Tub shower combination and walk-in shower

-Hosts up to 6 guests (including infants and children)

-Private parking for up to 2 vehicles, contactless check in

-Dog Friendly (one adult dog - $100 pet fee; a portion of the pet fee goes to support our local pet rescue - Angel's Rest.)

-Central heating, and air conditioning

-High speed WiFi and TV with access to streaming services



Upon entering Nelles Cottage there is a spacious living/dining area with enough room for the whole family to gather. There is a TV for those rainy days or relaxed evenings indoors.



The kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs during your stay with us:



-Drip-coffee maker and kettle with enough coffee, tea, and sugar to get you started

-Stove, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, and dishwasher

-Dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses (including wine glasses)

-Non-stick spray, paper towels, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloths

-Salt and pepper



There are two bedrooms on the main floor. The primary bedroom is behind French doors off the living space with a King bed and sliding doors overlooking the backyard. The other main level bedroom has a Queen bed. The family bathroom has a tub/shower combination.



On the lower level, the bedroom has another King bed, with lots of room, a sitting area and a built-in desk just in case you must work and a second TV. The lower level bathroom has a walk-in shower.



The laundry is on the lower level and everything you need is supplied:



-Laundry soap, stain remover and dryer sheets



Bedding, towels, hair dryer, facial and toilet tissue, shampoo, and hand soap are also provided.



Outside we have a gas BBQ and patio furniture to enjoy your meals "al fresco"! Relax on the front porch and watch the people and occasional horse and carriage pass by. Sit in the back garden while dinner cooks on the BBQ/grill. Take a walk through the back gate to the tennis courts or community swimming pool.



Take a short stroll to the many world-class restaurants, Shaw Festival Theatres, and quaint boutiques that line downtown Queen Street. Visit the Niagara wineries, breweries and distilleries scattered throughout the area. Niagara Falls is just a short drive away along the scenic Niagara River Parkway.

This is a great home for a small family or group to visit Niagara-on-the-Lake and the surrounding area. A very comfortable house with lots of room for privacy. Spring Weekend in NOTL

Well equipped and spacious spot for 3 of us. Could easily accommodate more people. Very clean, comfortable beds. Great location...short walk to the Pillar and Post and the gardens across which are lovely to stroll. It's an older home, so there are some squeaks and creaks but nothing overly bothersome. Would definitely stay again!
