Summerhill House is one of the top rated and most sought-after vacation homes in Niagara! It is a historic home with renovations and updates to add all the luxury and comfort of a modern home. Exposed wooden beams throughout provide some of the architecture that gives the old-world charm.
Walk up to the inviting front porch that has Adirondack chairs (or Muskoka chairs if you are Canadian), a great place to sit with your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
The foyer spills into the living area with a big cozy 'L' shaped couch and a sitting chair, with a TV. A charming round dining table perfect for gathering, playing a good old fashioned board game. There is a two-piece bath on the main level for your convenience.
Continuing to the rear of the home is a spacious, fully equipped open kitchen and dining room, with a larger dining table. Kitchen includes:
-Drip-coffee maker and kettle with enough coffee and tea to get you started
-Sugar packets, salt, and pepper
-Microwave, stove, fridge, toaster, and dishwasher
-Dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses (including wine glasses)
-Non-stick spray, paper towels, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloths
This is a wonderful place to watch that cook in your family or for everyone to help out. Patio doors lead out to the back yard with a deck that has seating for all your guests, gas BBQ/grill, and a garden area.
A flight of carpeted stairs leads you to the 2nd level to all 3 bedrooms. The first two bedrooms have queen beds with luxurious bed linens. The front queen bedroom has a walk out to the large, covered balcony that has comfortable seating overlooking King Street. The third bedroom has a king bed and is located at the back of the house overlooking the backyard.
The lower level has a generous sized games room with foosball table, air hockey, and another TV.
Laundry area is tucked away in the corner of the games room behind closet doors:
-Laundry soap, stain remover and dryer sheets
Bedding, towels, hair dryer, facial and toilet tissue, shampoo and hand soap are also provided.
Located just steps away from the corner of King St and Queen St, Summerhill House is across the street to Balzac's Coffee shop and The Irish Harp Pub.

Beds were very comfortable and it was great having a full bathroom in every bedroom. It was clean. Great location. Restaurants and shopping just outside your door. Great walking paths.

Great property in fabulous location. The kids loved walking to get ice cream each night. Game room was a hit for kids and adults alike! Loved that each room had its own en suite bathroom giving us all space we needed. Will hopefully come back soon for a girls trip!
This house is centrally located in the perfect spot in NOTL. Very short drive to several fantastic wineries and a very walkable town. Plentiful space throughout and the upper porch was perfect for day and night. Would stay again.

Property was clean, comfortable and location is an easy walk to Queen street for shopping, eating and coffee! Also just a short drive to wineries! Enjoyed our stay at this comfortable home. Would stay here again! Would love to see the kitchen better appointed, wine glasses as an example, and I would recommend ear plugs for guests in the front bedroom.
Beautiful property! We loved the front porch for morning coffee and evening beverages. Cleanliness was top notch (except for carpets....which could definitely use a steam clean). Close to the main drag and all the action but still quiet and private. We (3 gals celebrating an early mom's day) would definitely book again!
Lovely (unfortunately short!) stay again in lovely NOTL, third time staying at this place as it is our favourite spot. Perfect location downtown to walk to restaurants, pubs and the theatre. Great host communication for booking and check-in, and once again no need to even contact them.Will stay again... if it's available!
Summerhill House is ideally situated just around the corner from Queen Stree….main drag in NOTL. Every single detail in the house was first class and the landlord thought of simply everything. Three nice bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else and hope to return soon.
We highly recommend this property. The home is spacious, clean and steps from the centre of town. Lots of restaurants and shops around the corner. The home itself offers indoor and outdoor spaces • comfortable bedrooms and everything you could want in a home away from home. We will be back!
Our family of 4 adults and 2 children loved everything about our stay at the Summerhill House. House was a perfect size for our family. The kitchen was very spacious, the bedrooms & bathrooms were perfect for us and we enjoyed having the game room and front porches. The location was great for touring town, visiting the many wineries and taking several drives to the Falls. We hope to return again soon.
