Well located for bus and train access, small but adequate 5th floor unit in older building with nice view. BUT: No functional elevator (as advertised) in a 8-floor building! Wife and I are 72 and 80 years old and an elevator was a prime requirement that added to the cost of this vacation rental that we were happy to pay. However, it worked less than one day of the six we occupied the unit. A significant hardship to both of us during our stay which we struggled with. We asked for some financial consideration from the host firm for the lack of a feature that added to the cost of this rental. Response was tepid and then totally unresponsive.Please be aware of this incident and the non-response of the host firm (Riviera Holiday Homes) for the inaccuracy in the listing and failure to fairly adjust the fee accordingly.
