L'endroit est très calme et le village Les Ricey l'est également. Nous avons eu l'occasion de faire quelques sorties VTT, chemins pas très techniques mais attention il y a du dénivelé, le coin est vallonné. "Very reasonably priced and comfortable place to stay. Only a few steps away from Fosse Dionne and convenient to town and the train station. From this home base, we visited Dijon by train and Auxerre and Chablis by taxi. The place has everything you need. Two bedrooms are up a narrow flight of stairs which may pose difficulties for elderly people and the toilet is located on the first floor only. Very nicely decorated. "

"This apartment exceeded my expectations. We found fresh pasteries, plenty of coffee pods, and a gourmet tea box when we arrived. The cottage was well decorated and comfortable. We walked from the train station. We rented bikes in town and rode the canal de Bourgogne bike trail and hiked to the abbey de Fontenay. Angelique allowed us to check in early and checkout later. Communication was excellent. Located on a quiet street with easy walking access to town and the bike path. Highly recommend!"

Chambre d’hôtes le Prieuré de Fouchères

Chambre d’hôtes le Prieuré de Fouchères

8/10 Good
"A Charming French Farmhouse with Potential Set in a beautiful, peaceful, village, this working farm has all the makings of a French dream. The accommodation seemed more of a homestay than a hotel. Our bedroom was clean, and the host was very friendly and welcoming. The communal breakfast was a highlight, with tea and coffee, a choice of cereals, homemade mini pancakes, fresh bread and delicious homemade jams. Despite this, we felt that our accommodation felt dated rather than quaint. The bathroom would benefit from refreshing/updating and the mismatched old style bedding on the two double beds felt tired and overlooked. More attention to detail would make a real difference and make this nice property really wonderful. One thing to note, they do not take card payments. The property has wonderful character and enormous potential. With some sympathetic updating while retaining its rustic charm, it could be a truly special place to stay. Overall, an enjoyable homestay with a warm welcome, a lovely setting and plenty of room for improvement."
