"Of the 4 Hilton's I stay in regularly in KY and TN, this one has room for improvement. Building is very old and was the most luxurious of the downtown hotels. Unfortunately all that was lost during a bad renovation. Property is not a luxury hotel at all. Problems everywhere. Horrible wall paper pealing in bathrooms, broken dirty tiles, rough sandpaper feeling bath towels. Unprofessional staff poorly dressed and clearly not happy to be there. No towels at pool. Paid more for this room than any other I've stayed and is not even quality level of the best Holiday Inn. Needs major overhaul for sure. I love Hilton Hotels, but this one a true disappointment. I will not use Hilton when in Lexington, KY. There are 3 better choices."
