"Travelling as two families with 4 adults and 5 children (ages 11 to 17), we enjoyed our holiday at this property, which has great view overlooking the sea from its location in the hills above Cefalu. The villa is about 400 metres above sea level, on the winding mountain road up to the sanctuary at Gibilmanna. This made for a very pleasant climate (noticeably less humid than in Cefalu itself), great views and a calming location, although it does mean that a car is absolutely essential as there are no shops or restaurants closer than a 15 minute drive away. The property itself is made of three separate buildings - a row of 4 bedrooms, with a detached kitchen / living room opposite that, and a separate annex with further beds down some steps, next to the table tennis. There is a nice covered outdoor eating area, an outdoor kitchen, barbecue and wood fired pizza oven on on the same level as the main bedroom suite. The property is on a steep hill, with an off-road parking area above it which is much easier than the tricky access to the front entrance, but is quite a bit of effort when carrying shopping etc. Giovanni was a very helpful and responsive host, assisted by Adzim (apologies for any misspelling!) who emptied bins daily and was generally on hand for any issues. There are a few maintenance issues with the property which will continue to require attention, but this is a rustic property in a rural location and Giovanni & Adzim do their best to address any problems"

"Absolutely stunning little gem in the surroundings of Cefalu. Debora and the staff were really welcoming. We had a pleasant stay in a charming house of a typical Sicilian village. Our room was decorated with taste and the house is full of nice little touch and details eg. some Ortiga soaps are provided for the guests. It’s also great to come back to a cool and fresh place after enduring scorching heat."
