"The resort strives to preserve the island environment - avoiding plastic, reducing waste, making its own water and supplies. An incredible local community works to make that possible. The vegetation is just magnificent. You can walk around and truly feel the wild nature above.
The reef is the main reason we chose Nika and it exceeded our expectations. Nurse sharks, Black fins, turtles and all kinds of tropical fish populate the corals, you can snorkel around the island the be able to see them...

"If you are looking for a good and economical hotel to stay, this is the apt place for you. Cozy rooms and friendly staff. Staff is super friendly. I didn’t feel as if I was staying at a hotel, I felt more like a home. Would definitely recommend this to anyone planning to visit Ukulhas, Maldives."

My final night is something I’ll never forget. Feeling a little sad to be leaving, I was surprised and deeply touched when the staff arranged a private dinner for me at a little table set directly in front of the shimmering sea. It was the perfect farewell.
If you’re looking for over-water villas and flashy luxury, this is not the place for you. But if what you seek is peace, cleanliness, simple but delicious meals, and truly outstanding service, Belmar Beach is a gem. I know I’ll be back.
