"Its a very basic hotel but is clean, well located and friedly staff. Not many restaurants around that serve good food. The hotel owner said that he is putting up a new wing with more accommodation and a good restaurant. This should be ready by 2018."

"Very close to jump off point for Pigeon Island. Budget room was very clean but very hot despite the fan. No ventilation and windows didn’t open. Check in and checkout were really slow. Was quite disappointed with the friendly, but exceedingly unhelpful staff - not what I would expect at this more expensive property."

"This hotel is close to a lovely beach, but the hotel itself is very old-fashioned and shabby. The rooms are quite large but very bare, the lighting is poor and the curtains don't open (though I tied mine back with socks!). The king-size bed has 2 very thin mattresses through which you can feel the boards underneath, and the pillows are small, hard and lumpy. "Terrible experience. Terrible customer care. The hotel was shut and they refused to refund me. We (my wife and my 4 year old child) arrived at the location and the gate was shut. The nice lady who was at the hotel (we were unable to speak to her in the local language) did not let us through the gate then called someone who told me that the hotel was under refurbishment hence shut. He actually suggested us to book an hotel nearby. I called the German number associated with the hotel and another...
