These cozy lofts upstairs are located in Niles, Michigan by the river. This listing is for Loft 2 in our 10-loft building. Enjoy a stay in this cozy 1 bedroom unit located by the river, there is a river view from this unit. Tastefully decorated throughout with lots of extra touches and amenities not usually found in short-term rental homes. Rivers Edge Lofts are ideal for guests looking to travel and visit Michigan or for long-term stays. Rivers Edge Lofts are centrally located to tourist attractions, wineries, and various universities. Close to highway US-31 with easy access to major attractions such as Notre Dame or southwestern MI beaches; also close to airports for a quick business trip.



Not only is Rivers Edge Lofts conveniently located to various activities but close access to grabbing a bite to eat. Take a 1-minute drive to downtown Niles to check out the local restaurants and relish a relaxing stroll along the river. The entire home is for your private use with an easy self-check-in process to accommodate various arrival times. There is a private entrance with your own access code that will function between your check-in and check-out times.



Come back after a great day of exploring and enjoy the comfort and warmth of your own place. Access to a mini fridge and microwave within the unit. Washers and dryers, coffee makers, and a toaster are located in the shared common area within the complex. Sleeps 2 comfortably. Completely remodeled unit with all the latest designs. Guests will find the space to be warm, comfortable, and inviting and the hosts to be responsive and diligent to provide an excellent stay for each guest. Had an amazing stay. Lots of local boutiques, cafes, and bars within a 5 minute walk. Very clean and cute. If any problems arise, the hosts are great at communicating.

The apartment was clean and easy to get too. However part of the floor in the bathroom was coming up and only covered with a rug. Other than that it was nice and cozy for a weekend getaway!

Beautiful property! Clean, full of light, and with a great river view. The space is ample and tastefully designed. Very good dining options are around and highly compatible with walks alongside the river. Fully recommended.

This is a very well appointed accomodation for one or a couple. Handy Refrigerator and Microwave. Big shower. Love the views of the river.

The concept is terrific, the execution, not so much. I want to give this place a 5 but I just can't: the view is serene unless the hospital is busy with ambulance sirens and honking horns, the location is close to Main Street and 2&M Coffee but finding an open location for dinner or even grocery close by was tough, the room was large and bright but not one window opened so the ventilation was stagnant, the shower is huge but the flooring gentle bathroom is peeled up which sucks when you stub your toe on it, there is a mini fridge but no utensils or dishes and worst of all, the walls are paper thin, even when your neighbors are whispering. Tons of potential, tons, just needs some finishing work, some repairs, and a little more thought.

Nice, comfortable, quiet hideaway next to the river and close to hospital in Niles. Appealing decor, roomy. Adequate refrigerator and microwave. Definitely better than a hotel if you bring your own kitchen stuff and hair dryer. Criticism: No utensils in unit-not even a cup to heat water for tea in the microwave.

Quick stay in Niles

Overall I am happy with my stay and the reservation however I would not stay again given how much noise came through the neighboring walls. Pros: The host was very prompt, the room was very easy to access and clean. Cons:The laminate bathroom tiles was fraying and coming up and the walls were extremely thin. Both nights I could clearly hear my neighbors. They were not being excessively loud on either occasion and didn't warrant confronting them. The walls are just so thin you can hear them talking and the TV playing very clearly.

A gem

Charming, impeccably decorated and extremely clean. Unit has a view of the St Jo River and river walk. Close by the distillery, Iron Shoe, well worth the visit.. What a gem ! I would stay here again in a heartbeat . Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The place was absolutely wonderful! Clean. Great location. Amazing decor. Great communication with owners. I think the only drawback was that the bed is not comfortable. Even with the bed, I would stay here over and over again!

Lovely property, convenient location

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Rivers Edge. The room was large and well thought out. The long bar top and stools are perfect for getting work done while the view of the river added a relaxing environment. The rental is downtown within walking distance to shops, restaurants and distilleries. I will gladly stay here whenever I am in Niles MI

Nice loft no kitchen.

A little noisy, but earplugs were in the room, bed was comfy but it is just a room with a shower and TV. You won’t have to worry about doing the dishes, there’s only a fridge and microwave. Coffee is in the common area. Easy to get to but the access door is somewhat hidden.

Quiet cute little apartment close to lots of things with a great view of the river. Also a haor dryer would be a nice attention. However other guest or tenants were extremely loud around 12 midnight to 1 AM and I did see a sign about quiet hours so not sure what happened there but it was disrespectful.

This location is very deceiving at first! It appears you are at an office building but once you find your way in, this is a beautiful, industrial style studio. The room is clean, stylish and comfortable! The shower is awesome! We had a few questions and needs and the owners were kind, and quick to respond with ample open communication. There us a small fridge and microwave. Please note, there are no eating/drinking utensils. The bed is different at first not comfortable until it sucks you in! Internet is available however it wasn't easy to access unfortunately. This is a beautiful location for walking around town, clean and convenient. We stayed here for an event at Round Barn and would absolutely stay again.

Not clean. Beat-up Rental.

Shower had a lot of hair in it and bath mat was soaking wet when we arrived and still wet when we left (Fri-Sun; we did not use the shower). The bathroom floor vinyl is curling and separating as a result. As others have described the walls are indeed paper thin. All other rooms in the place are rentals as well so expect a lot of noise on weekends. Metal bed was creaky but sleepable. Ceiling is industrial with large HVAC unit above the bed missing a filter. It worked for a place to stay, but wouldn't stay again. Rentor replied to my updates and complaints, but no resolution during our stay. I don't appreciate paying cleaning fees when you show up to a place that obviously wasn't cleaned.
