Year Round Cabin! Nisswa shopping, Snowmobiling & Ice Fishing!

Beautiful lake views from the cabin, comfortable beds (1 king, 2 queen), game room, fast wi-fi, 1.2 miles to boutiques of Nisswa square and a host that is prompt at answering questions! Cabin guide gives plenty of suggestions for local attractions, restaurants and fishing guides/fish house rentals.

Planning a trip in the winter months? Snowmobile the Paul Bunyan Trail (trail access parking lot downtown Nisswa - 1.2 miles from the cabin). Ice fishing is popular on the Gull Lake Chain and right outside the back door of the cabin on Lake Edna. Pan fish, walleye and bass that will give a good fight! Bring your ice house or rent one. We have a list of experienced fishing guides and ice house rentals if you need. The Brainerd Jaycees Fishing Extravaganza is Jan 31, 2026…book the cabin today to be sure you have a place to stay! There are also many trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Equipment rental stores are nearby if you don’t have your own.

Great family getaway

My husband and I came here with our two boys (5 and 2) and had a blast. The beach entry is shallow and great for littles. We rented a pontoon to explore gull lake and the kids loved the Lilly pad that was provided with the rental. House was clean and roomy. Had a great stay!

Great place on the lake

This place was amazing! It had everything you could possibly need, including kayaks, a game room, access to two lakes, and more. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back!

Best Nisswa Vacation To Date

This was by far the best rental we have ever stayed in both in the area and elsewhere! They really thought of everything in the cabin, the location is perfect and the access to the lakes is unbeatable. We hope to come back again!

Girls Weekend

This property was great! Close to the lake, really nice beach and dock area. House was super clean and well stocked. Close to Nisswa and Pequot Lakes for shopping and eating out. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. We had a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful time.

We will definitely go back. Very private and the cabin was very clean and inviting. We rented a pontoon and bought our boat so was very nice to have the boat on edna and the pontoon on Roy Lake 😀 my children loved the lilly pad and swimming. Nice to have restaurants on the lake to eat at.

Relaxing Retreat with a View!

My friend of I go on an annual trip in MN. We picked this location this year, and it did not disappoint.Week before Fishing Opener and the weather was in the 70's during the day, and 50's in the evening!!! Perfect!Thank you so much. This will be on our "Keep" file!Sully & Kaz

Great Nisswa location!

A great place to stay with our family. The house is located in a great spot with easy access to restaurants and activities. We loved that we could dock our boat right there on the property. Cabin was equipped with everything you need. There is also a boathouse with a game room along with many items for water fun & a closet full of games. Our family had a wonderful experience at this cabin! We are hoping to return!

Great cabin and great location. Online pictures make some rooms bigger than what they actually are, especially kitchen and eating area. All was good except one of the bedrooms had acorns in the bed which was very strange and a creepy way to start off our stay. Price was not discounted for this.

Beautiful views! Extremely clean! I was looking to get away with my adult children for peace and quiet. I have a high stress job in the mental health field and I found my zen here. We are looking forward to booking in the summer. Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful!

The cabin was very clean and had everything you might want. The Cabin Guest Book was amazing, so much information. It was close to town. The lake view from the living room and bedroom was beautiful. Would be especially nice to stay in summer because you could swim, fish and kayak right from the beach. Loved it!

Location Location Location

Well stocked with all essentials. 2 lake access totally unique and well used. Lake Edna is lightly used and enjoyable for kids dock fishing swimming and kayaking. Also adult daydreaming with a view. We put our pontoon on Roy and had easy access to the Gull chain. Living space was roomy. Bathrooms a little small. Step out of the lower level shower might be a challenge for older visitors (shower base 10 or so inches above floor). We TOTALLY enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this property and owner.

Fun last days of summer

We booked an end of summer long weekend at this cabin and truly had a magical time! The cabin and grounds are quaint and well kept. The amenities seem even better in person that I imagined from the profile- we had SO much to keep us busy! We loved the opportunity to kayak, use a lily pad at the dock, swing at the water’s edge, have a campfire, play foosball and table tennis… we didn’t even get to the board games! They really think of everything, and it is all well organized and labeled. The location was also perfect, just a short drive to any of the local shops and restaurants. We usually stay at a resort when we come to this area but they are getting so overpriced— I’m glad I looked elsewhere!! A+
