"Alfred and Nicole’s place is so artfully done, peaceful, and comfortable. It is impeccably clean and they were the most welcoming hosts we’ve ever had. The property is just outside a small town, and there isn’t too much traffic during the day but at night it is silent. They were so welcoming of our little dachshund, and the gate can be closed to provide a safe place for a doggie to investigate. Their dog Paul is a lovely good boy. "I was charged for the booking by Expedia but the hotel said the room was not paid for, so we assumed it was payment on arrival and paid the hotel. When we returned home, we found that Expedia had also charged us for the same stay. Furthermore the hotel did not provide us with an official receipt, that we can remember. As a result, we are having difficulty getting our duplicate payment refunded from Expedia. We are attempting to contact the hotel to obtain a copy of their receipt to prove to Expedia that we have paid the hotel, directly, in the hope to get our duplicate payment refunded."
