What a wholesome and wonderful experience from start to finish! The location is absolutely breathtaking, and the one-of-a-kind international buffet for dinner was a true highlight. Between the stunning views and the impeccable service, this stay was perfection. This hotel has truly set the standard very high for all others.

This is a fantastic hotel in an amazing location with incredible views of Jebel Akhdar. Our room was beautiful and plenty of space with a view of the canyon from our balcony. My biggest regret is that I didn’t stay longer

Absolutely stunning hotel and the best team I’ve met in all of Oman. It was luxury through and through - however not this put on and very formal type of luxury, it was this welcoming, warm, charming attitude where the staff make friendly conversations and are warm and present and just lovely and charming people. That’s hospitality.

Best hotel in the area

We had the most amazing stay, everything in the hotel is top class. From service to food to facilities. The pool and gym are superb. The sunset view from the rooftop is amazing. There are few hikes/visits to be done in the area. They also gave us a free room upgrade so that is just the cherry on top, we would have stayes longer if we knew how good it was.

Too much music

Background music constantly playing everywhere, becomes annoying in such a spectacular location, guests don’t need it! Sure, at certain times is nice, not all the time. Otherwise, cannot fault this newish hotel with 5 star amenities, service, food- can be pricey but bearable. Would return if visiting Oman again.

Too much music, stunning location

Absolutely stunning surrounding to stay, the hotel itself is beautiful and nothing beats the view. However the constant music playing is not ok, it starts from early morning and continues into the night. Peace and quiet is needed, not background music the whole time. Start the music from 4pm. People getaway to relax and have quiet, the music is too invasive. Hotel itself otherwise is very comfortable. The speed of service can be improved, many things took too long, but the staff are very friendly.

Our stay at Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar was truly exceptional from start to finish. The hotel itself is stunning — large, modern rooms with every comfort you could want, breathtaking views from every angle, and one of the most beautiful pools I’ve seen. The gym deserves a special mention — it’s easily the best hotel gym I’ve ever come across, with every bit of equipment you could need for a great workout (even Pilates rings!). The restaurant and rooftop bar were both fantastic, with delicious food, great atmosphere, and unbeatable views — but what really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Every single person we met went above and beyond to make our stay special. A few people who truly made an impression: • Rangeet (Reception): gave us such a warm welcome and farewell, and was incredibly helpful throughout. • Ibrahim (Breakfast): made every morning a joy — so helpful, cheerful, and made sure we had the best start to the day. • Reamae (Dinner): excellent service, so warm and friendly — she really made our evenings memorable. • Arora (Wellness): her yoga and self-love meditation classes were wonderful — she personalised them for my mum and me and helped us feel completely relaxed. • PT (Fitness): we didn’t catch his name, but he gave us a very thorough and positive body composition session, then personalised a FitBench workout for us. Our stay at Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar was truly exceptional from start to finish. The hotel itself is stunning — large, modern rooms with every comfort you could want, breathtaking views from every angle, and one of the most beautiful pools I’ve seen. The gym deserves a special mention — it’s easily the best hotel gym I’ve ever come across, with every bit of equipment you could need for a great workout (even Pilates rings!). The restaurant and rooftop bar were both fantastic, with delicious food, great atmosphere, and unbeatable views — but what really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Every single person we met went above and beyond to make our stay special. A few people who truly made an impression: • Rangeet (Reception): gave us such a warm welcome and farewell, and was incredibly helpful throughout. • Ibrahim (Breakfast): made every morning a joy — so helpful, cheerful, and made sure we had the best start to the day. • Reamae (Dinner): excellent service, so warm and friendly — she really made our evenings memorable. • Arora (Wellness): her yoga and self-love meditation classes were wonderful — she personalised them for my mum and me and helped us feel completely relaxed. • PT (Fitness): we didn’t catch his name, but he gave us a very thorough and positive body composition session, then personalised a FitBench workout for us. He was so encouraging and friendly whenever we saw him around. • Denver & Vinayak (Rooftop Bar): both were so hospitable

The hotel is beautiful, the view breathtaking but … too far from Nizwa, the restaurants around the hotel are of a poor quality and the restaurant of the hotel is way overpriced.
