"The room was clean and ready for us when we got there. Being from America, we were a little confused about the address and at first ended up in the town Norager. But then we put in the exact address of the motel and found it 15 minutes away in Haverslev within the municipality of Norager, We never had personal contact with the staff. We communicated with them by email. They gave us the code to our room the morning of the day of our check-in. We were traveling with limited Internet, so the fact that we got it in the morning of our previous hotel stay was perfect. We were able to get the room code right before we lost internet service. The motel is located right off the freeway exit. We were able to use our stay as a central location to other places we wanted to see. It was about an hour away from the area Frederikshavn and Skagen. There are a few fast food eateries close by; Burger King, McDonald’s and a couple of local grills. We were excited about a McDonald’s close by since breakfast was not included with our stay. However the McDonald’s in Denmark don’t have much of a breakfast menu and the don’t open until 8:00. One morning we had McDonald’s, and the next morning we got pastries from the Circle K across the street. Burger King was not open for breakfast."

"The staff, the location, cleanliness, quietness, it had all the ingredients for a comfort stay for me. Great range of breakfast options including my very favourite- thin pancakes. Got to use the sauna too and explore the lounge with pool table. My one advice would be to put a jug/bottle of water and a few glasses on the table outside the sauna as a health and safety pre-requisite. Also advise on the use of sauna since it is a small room and the heat goes beyond safe limits( 90 degrees C for me) quickly even while sitting in it so keep the door opened or if there is another way to regulate heat, please do so too. But brilliant stay!"

"You can never go wrong with Scandics. They are top-of-the-line as far as affordable hotels. They never let me down. I especially like that this room was fully carpeted. Many of there rooms are not. Small refrigerator would come in handy, as well. But other than that, never a complaint."

"A great experience in an old horse farm building remodeled to guest rooms with a special vibe to it. From the breakfast room / restaurant you have a beautiful view over the premises. Everybody was very friendly and accommodating."
