"We were so impressed with the beautiful setting of this property….just as shown in the photos. The owner was super kind and gave detailed instructions which made the check-in and check-out processes very easy. The spacious cabin was clean and well-stocked with so many extras. All of the beds were comfortable and had nice linens. We enjoyed the fireplace and the outdoor fire pit during our stay. Nordegg was a cool little town and we loved touring the mine, hiking, sightseeing, and eating pie!Had to take off a star because listing stated a washer and dryer and being the tail-end of a long trip, we were counting on that for some clean clothes. The binder of information also included instructions to put recycling and dirty linens in the basement before leaving, but basement door was locked, so that was a bit confusing. Updates to the listing and instruction book, reflecting these changes, would be good. Heads up….if you are a coffee drinker, make sure to bring your own. There is a coffee maker and filters provided. I don’t believe we have ever stayed in a rental without coffee, so that was a bit of a surprise. The owner does supply so many other extras, like spices, sugar, oil, water, snacks, etc. which was very thoughtful. We had a great time here and would highly recommend this property to those wanting to get away from the crowds and enjoy nature."
