Exceptionally clean and quiet. Great home base to explore the area from. Lots of walking trails starting right from the site as well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the mattress was sacked out otherwise the place was wonderful. We will be going back.

Nordegg is such a beautiful area and the cabin was perfectly appointed. It is a community of cabins that are nicely spaced apart so you have some private space, which is really nice. The firepit and deck are wonderful and we had a great time using both. If you'd like a little more privacy there might be other choices, but really well appointed cabin ina beautiful spot, really enjoyed our weekend!

Cozy and peaceful get away.

Our stay here surpassed our expectations. A beautiful location close to beautiful walking/ biking trails, beautiful lakes and falls. The cabin was cozy, very clean and had everything needed to cook meals. We would highly recommend and we hope to come back for another stay.

Wonderful stay Even though the weather was crisp the stove was ideal Eberything a person needed for a little getaway. Bring your own condiments and dvds or you can rent/purchase as desired Absolutely loved the coziness of this quiet and lovely place

Perfect getaway!

We loved our stay at the Rock! The cabin was even better than the photos online. This was the perfect place for a quiet getaway with nature and adventures right outside our door. We loved the privacy of the cabin and all the deer we spotted in the area. There were so many lakes, waterfalls and great hikes only minutes away. We can’t wait to return!

The Rock rocked!

Such a gorgeous little property! Booked in last minute and was so happy we did! Will for sure be visiting again and sharing our wonderful experience! We had everything we needed and then some! Checking was flawless and we loved the little extras (games, movie options, fire wood stacked and ready)!

Absolute gem in Nordegg

We couldn't have asked for a better accommodation! The cabins have a number of amenities in order for you to live like you're at home. We used everything, the bbq, all the kitchen tools supplied, we used the wood stove plenty, and the outdoor fire pits. The location, layout and overall esthetic of the property is beautiful. The cabins are absolutely spotless as well, everything is detail cleaned and well maintained. We are very impressed with our stay, the owners clearly take a lot of pride in their property and this business. We would highly recommend Expanse Cottages to everyone. Thanks for allowing us to make wonderful memories this past weekend!!

Mother/daughter getaway

This was our second annual weekend getaway and we have found our happy place to be just us two girls. We really enjoyed our weekend in The Rock! The solitude was so nice and the well marked trails offered a pleasant walk. We will be back! !being willback!

We spent five nights at the cottage, including Christmas Eve. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the quality of service. Warm, clean, and well-equipped, everything we could possibly need was available in the cottage. Jason, Jen, and Jodi are really friendly and very accommodating. We even received our Christmas card on the 25th! We will definitely keep this address in mind for future trips!

Quietness

Everything was great. Cabin very clean and well equipped. Seen lots of birds/deer within eyesight and a black bear 70 km east. Hosts were friendly and cared about our well being!
