"The hotel is ideally placed in Central Oslo. It is visible from the exit of Central Station and is just next to the bus and tram routes. The Reception was open after midnight when I got in after a delayed flight. The free coffee was very welcome. The room was nicely presented and the fixtures and fittings were all brand new. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet. I would definitely stay at the property again."

"Oslo doesn't have the vibrant downtown that other Scandinavian capitols do, but that shouldn't detract from your experience. That said, the hotel is perfectly located, especially if you are in need of ocean access, which with Museum Island and Fjord cruises is a definite must. Also, plenty of dining options abound, and cool places like the Viking Planet are within a stone's throw. The single laundry machine isn't exactly helpful, and can get log-jammed quickly with patrons. That is my only complaint really. Here you get what you pay for, and at a decent cost."
