"Very convenient to the beach and not too far from restaurants, etc. As others have said, the road is busy and loud but thats beyond the control of the owners. You are also at the mercy of others staying in the building but again, the owners cant control that. Properly supplied and nice enough without breaking the bank."

"The property is right on the beach - great if you bring your dog. The bedding and pillows were the softest ever! Super quiet location and lots of parking. The back patio is also spacious. The restaurants nearby were delicious - lots of outside beach options. Will definitely be staying here every time we catch a show at Hampton!"

"Very clean, upper floor, older apartment. Well appointed. Pictures in ad are exactly as noted. Area is on the outskirts of the nicer Lafayette Circle area, so a car is needed to get to stores, restaurants or downtown Norfolk etc."

"I’m so happy that I chose this property to stay at for my time at Va beach! It truly felt like home rather than just a hotel stay. It was waterfront with just a short walk through the parking lot to get to the beach. If you want to stay waterfront and avoid the crowds, this is your place to be! Management was amazing to work with as well. "

"Lots of hair conditioner and not even one drop of shampoo or bar of soap. )) Windows better not to open, otherwise will struggle to close them. Washer is leaking after it completes wash cycle. Loose tiles in the bathroom. Bathroom towels are shredding and thin. Dishwasher gets the run offs from the sink and if you run a load it washes with the runoffs. Have to rinse the dishes after the dishwasher completes the cycle. Overall it is "ok" to stay."

"The room is steps from the beach, true. The path to the beach is through other's property and is littered with their stuff. The room is also steps from a busy road. The room is very small, and while cooled by the window unit, is still humid and very much like a basement. There is no way to get fresh air into the space. The kitchen is hot because the refrigerator and hot water heater(!) take up much of the space and all of the air in the room. Both large appliances are plugged into the wall...

"Unit was in a great location of walkable to restaurants, cafés shops attractions. The unit was very spacious, the bedrooms living room, dining room plenty of room for the four of us. The only thing I would say is that they need to replace the sofa."

"Nice for a short stay, if you dont plan to spend a lot of time indoors. enclosed deck very convenient for pets, but latch was broken. Place was hard to find, directions that state it is directly across the street from the brewery restaurant would help as that is a noticable landmark."

"We were at a different location than we originally booked. I am not sure how to rate the place shown since we weren't there. The alternative home we did stay in was very nice, on the beach and easy to get to everywhere."

"What a lovely home. Great for the whole family. Hosts were wonderful at communication with us throughout the weekend. Loved how close the beach was an easy to get to lots of restaurants etc. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of seating in the dining room and comfy living area. I hope we can return if my daughter goes to ODU"

"We had a great stay at this property for 3 nights. It is a perfect fit for two adults and a dog and was right around the corner from the ocean. The bed and bathtub were absolutely wonderful! I appreciated the communication from owners and had an easy, peaceful weekend. Thanks!"
