**summers are cooler due to breeze off water.
* Downtown Norfolk 15 minites, enjoy top 3rd in nation Botanical Gardens, zoo, USS Wisconsin,Casemate Museum in Hampton is a gem!
Mariners Museum in Newport News or Virginia Beach Aquarium. Lighthouse commission by Pres. Lincoln on Cape Henry 20 minutes away All 5 cities are near & each with something special to offer.
Relax on Beach on property and watch Naval exercises under a 100 year live oak on our beach. No sharks here!

Loved it
We came in early May, that is, outside of the main tourist season. The house thus functioned as a secluded spot with its own small private beach and barbecue porch. This was a paradisiac break. We had intended to visit historical places nearby (for example, Williamsburgh), but enjoyed the house so much that never left it (except to get provisions).

This was my 2nd stay. I love this home and highly recommend it. Feels homey, and spacious and the private beach is a plus! I also enjoy walking over to the public beach!

Amazing Property and Location
This home is super spacious, clean & welcoming. The bed, sheets, towels were great. Loved all the comfy couches and oversized dining table. Tons of space for our group of 10. Many extra items were provided in the kitchen, way more kitchen tools than I see in the typical rental. Loved the large TVs. All the kids enjoyed the private beach just off the back yard. Our pup enjoyed nearby public beach which we walked. Looking forward to staying here again!

Misleading pictures on website, dangerous shower, dirty carpets, poor outdoor lighting, mouse in the house, rooms too small for 2 people, linens didn’t stay on pillows, mattress cover didn’t stay on bed, musty smell in old section, only 1 TV worked,

Property was just as described. Spacious and accommodated my family perfectly. It was also very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Communication between me and the owner was great. Would definitely visit this property again in the future.

Nice quiet place to relax and enjoy yourself
The house was very cozy and quiet. The little beach area and water from the harbor was really great. The kids loved the kayaks and it was nice to just sit on the deck and watch them play
