"Good property in downtown Norfolk next to the harbor. Staff at front desk rectified a situation at check in and handled it very well. Gym is excellent, spacious with a lot of the state of the art equipment. Bar could use one more bartender than on duty but the 10th floor lounge is good. A tad outdated rooms and amenities but overall a good property when in Norfolk. "

"The staff is wonderful. Check-in was a breeze and very courteous. Diana at the bistro made my evening by correcting my meal. It made all the difference after a long drive from Charleston, SC.
The room was clean but could stand a bit of updating. Furniture is a bit beat up. Beds were not made to Marriott standards, even if it is a Courtyard. For downtown Norfolk, I expect a bit more."

"The stay was good. Me and wife wanted to get away. This was what we needed. At checking in was a little problem but the manager was very helpful. My room was $145.50 for 2 nights. But for all the mistakes. They charge us only $98.00 So I'm waiting on $47.50. That's the difference. Thanks for everything.

"Hotel was clean and there was a fair selection at the breakfast bar with freshly brewed coffee and tea available 24/7. The shining star of this Holiday Inn Express was the gentleman at the front desk. He was very friendly and went above & beyond to secure me gauze & tape when I cut my toe on the pavement. The hotel was also near many places to eat and felt safe. Definitely recommend!"
