"We had a really wonderful family vacation at Velero Beach Resort. We had a 2-bedroom suite with full kitchen and balcony. The room is not the newest, but it is very clean. They clearly go the extra mile to keep things looking and feeling clean. The staff is very nice, including the cleaning staff, front desk, security, and food service. The restaurant truly exceeded our expectations"

"I enjoyed my stay in DR but the staff made my vacation truly memorable. They really cared about any inquires I had and was there to answer any question. They provided recommendations including places to go and eat although the food at their restaurant was really good. The waitresses were attentive and very patient. I'm going to stay there everytime I come back to DR moving forward."

"The resort is beautiful and family friendly. Lots of kids. Food was good and rooms were nice. The closeness to the beach was perfect. The bar though. The lines get super long at times even if it's just to get sodas. Bring your own water bottles."

"We had such an amazing stay at Sosúa by the Sea! If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly hotel where you can truly relax, this is the place. The ocean views are absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere is so calm. I personally loved that there wasn’t a loud club on the property—it made it easy to unwind and enjoy quality time with my family. I want to give a huge thank you to Randy at the bar. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always made sure we had everything we needed. His customer service really stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable. Another special thank you to Juan, who went above and beyond by decorating both of our rooms with balloons—one for my son’s birthday and one for my fiancé’s birthday. It was such a thoughtful surprise that made both celebrations feel extra special. The restaurant staff also deserves recognition. They surprised us with a personalized birthday cake, and both the staff and fellow guests sang Happy Birthday. It was such a heartfelt moment that we’ll never forget. The kindness and effort everyone put into making our family feel celebrated meant so much to us. From the beautiful scenery to the outstanding hospitality, our experience exceeded our expectations. We made wonderful memories here and will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at Sosúa by the Sea for making our trip so special! ❤️"

"La atención del servicio al cliente excelente !!la vista al mar y el acceso a la playa por diferentes áreas muy bien. Diferentes ambientes para compartir y un restaurante con variedad. Las habitaciones y apartamentos son muy completos con cocina y sala todo lo que puedes tener en tu casa."
