Emandare Vineyard Guest House, a Restful Haven.

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (86)
"It was a peaceful and restful stay at the beautiful Emandare vineyard. Lots of great local attractions, a perfect stop between Nanaimo and Victoria. Only downside was that there was no dishwasher so need to hand wash the dishes if you plan to cook there. Hosts were easy to communicate with and helpful. The wine shop is only open on Saturday but with advance planning you could reach out to the host regarding private tastings. Sad that we missed out on that. I’m sure we would have bought every...

Pet friendly Cottage & Hot Tub *Unaffected by bylaw changes*

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (65)
"Our family had a fantastic stay at the sailors retreat. Arriving very late our first day. The hosts were extremely accomodating and we were able to get into THE vacation home without a hitch. Welcomed with such a lovely, very clean space including it being puppy proofed so that they could have an amazing stay as well. So many interesting items to see in this sailors delight and filled with everything you may need, even a rice cooker. We were so very appreciative of the information provided for...

Oceanfront Suite with Hot Tub

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (157)
"Wow! What a fantastic space. Kathy took care of every little detail like fresh croissants with jam for breakfast, extra toothbrush if needed, flip flops for the hot tub. Just everything about the space was immaculate and well thought out. The view was so beautiful it was otherworldly. The space was deliciously quiet and I feel refreshed and rejuvenated just from my short stay. The local pub, marina and
beach
were only a short 5 minute walk and the area was full of spots to explore. My only...

Private suite located on the garden side of our home

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (41)
"My husband and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The host, Berta, was so hospitable. The accommodations were impeccably clean, the soaking tub was wonderful, so much detail was put into the apartment. The garden was beautiful, peaceful and was so enjoyable watching the hummingbirds during the day and hearing the frogs at night. It’s situated in a beautiful neighborhood, close to everything we wanted to do. Would love to stay here again if visiting Vancouver Island."
