Two bedroom river side apartment with large private yard

  • Located on the Maitland River and close to downtown, this newly renovated (2021), two bedroom apartment is located in the lower level of a bungalow with a private accessible entrance. Includes a large open kitchen, dining and living area and two bedrooms. The second bedroom can be set up with two twin beds or one king bed. Amenities include a large parking area, high speed internet, games, laundry, fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, patio furniture, fire pit (with wood provided) river access and more. 5 minute walk to downtown for restaurants and shopping. Close to parks, walking and biking trails in town, fishing (bass and trout) in season, bikes available to guests. Wingham is a small community that is central to many local attractions and is the birthplace of Nobel Laureate Alice Munro. 30 minute drive to Lake Huron, 35 minutes to Goderich, 15 minutes to Blyth which is home to Blyth Festival Theatre, Cowbell Brewery and the G2G trail. Several wineries and microbreweries located with a 15-45 minute drive. 9 hole golf course in town and numerous 18 hole golf courses within 30 minutes.
