"There were 8 of us staying at this property. We had plenty of room for sleeping, socializing, cooking, dining and playing cards! There was more than enough room for our four vehicles. The owner responded quickly whenever we contacted him. We would visit it again when we’re in the area!"

"We booked this for our very small wedding we were having. At first glance I was a little concerned about the outside of the house. It was not exactly what the pictures showed and could have a little maintenance done around the outside and deck. The steps to the dock area are in need of some TLC but it is still accessible and able to be used. Overall, it was a perfect venue for our needs and Jason was very helpful."

"The location ON the Moose River was gorgeous but the cottages are VERY close so it was a little noisy. The decorations on the grounds for Halloween were adorable! It was difficult to learn how to operate the TV and the heaters (it was cold in the mornings). There were no instructions left to run either item and when we called the number listed, we could only leave a message but nobody called us back. We had to wait till the next day when the office was open ..then someone came right away. The shower was NOT spotless, and the floors weren't super clean. The main bedroom was ok but the bunks in the bunk room were small and not so clean under the mattresses. There was only ONE small area to hang clothes. They left no cleaning supplies or paper towels to clean before we left."

"Very cozy home with plenty of room for everyone. Right in town within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Host communicated at all times and check in was so simple. Very quiet neighborhood with lots of wildlife to enjoy."

"Very nice quiet spot. The kids loved the playground a few feet down the road. We all enjoyed the fire pit and making smores every night. Inside was clean and spacious enough that we all enjoyed every bit of it . The washer and dryer on site was handy. There was a early morning wake up call from a roaster down the road which we got a kick out of. White Lake was a distance down the road but the family checked out the dock. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and the host was very nice."

"Our family of 6 adults, 1 teen & 1 toddler had a wonderful time. Fishing and kayaking were a huge hit as well as the nightly campfires. The cabin was beautiful, clean, & comfortable and had everything we needed. Old Forge is a lovely location and we’ll return again soon!"
