"This is not a 5 star hotel. Expidea advertised AC in the rooms. They tuned it off because the season is over. When the sun beats on the window its 85 degrees. Now way to cool the room. Advertise they no AC in the off season. Would not have stayed. The beach bar is closed. So is the restaurant. We ate at Romeo and Juliet the first night. No one was there. "BEWARE FALSE ADVERTISING!! They claim this hotel is "beach front". It is NOT. You have to cross the hotel grounds then cross a busy street and then walk another 10 minutes to get to the beach. "Fantastic place! Beautiful property close to wild Vadu beach. Well equipped, tastefully decorated, super comfortable beds. The owners are super welcoming, kind people who give the hotel a personal touch. The food was also excellent. Highly recommended!"

"Simple hotel. Bed, aircon below average. Powerpoints are scarce, no bottled water, no coffee making facilities, no facial tissues. Reception ladies are helpful. Position is excellent. Art Museum Opera & Ballet (free performance last Sunday night - very good!) and beach. I guess hence the high price."
