"The property was beautifully decorated and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. I did not receive my key code for the door lock so I reached out to the property owner. Their response was prompt, and the issue was easily resolved. I am very satisfied with my entire experience."

"No amenities, drab front desk, no breakfast included, drab hallways and rooms floors look dirty, city parking next to the hotel but dark, dirty and smelly… twice the expense on Expedia than a Hampton Inn (which I’m now at). That last one is on me…but I now became a Hilton rewards member…what a difference ambiance cleanliness *****. Never again with discount hotels and especially with Expedia for me!"

"The place is reasonably large and well-located, but is in disrepair. The owner did not tell us until the day before we were arriving that the basement is often “wet” “like most homes in Lancaster.” Really? The owner lists the game room in the basement as a selling point for the house and it was for us given 2 teens in our party. But dampness and odor made it difficult to enjoy.Worse was that the dishwasher was filled with black and green mold and was unusable. The owner suggested this was “discoloration” (it was not) and that regardless we should load dishes in the dishwasher and just leave them there for 3 days. We elected to hand wash but there was no counter space or dish towels to dry them. Owner agreed to drop off dish towels but left them on the porch without notifying us. Additionally, the light over the stove did not work, so we needed to use our phone flashlights to cook. We also could not use the flying pans because the nonstick surface had scratched off, making them unsafe. The kitchen is tiny, cluttered, and in great need of updating to even be safe let alone an enjoyable place to cook and prepare food. Additionally, the third floor has no bathroom and the second bath on the 2nd floor requires you to go through someone’s bedroom or up a steep flight of stairs off the kitchen, making the layout inconvenient for a modestly large group (we were 7). The uncleanliness and disrepair despite a pretty hefty price translates to a poor rating. We don’t recommend."

"Lovely, well appointed home in fantastic location! I’ve stayed in many other rentals that don’t even have salt and pepper but this unit was decently stocked with the basics as well as a full spice rack! Private parking in back was a godsend! It is an older home that is really updated well. Good easy communication with owner! "
