"We had a lovely time at the Avista resort hotel. Our room was very clean and we had a great ocean view. The pool area was good for children and adults with two pools and a lazy river. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Some parts of the resort needed a little repair but overall our stay was very pleasant. "

"Hotel has a lot of traffic in and out and is pretty noisy. Couldn’t sleep one night for people screaming and running up and down areas outside hotel door. Room cleanliness wasn’t what I expected. A deep cleaning was needed. Lots of people there smoking marijuana. Marijuana smoke was a common theme in elevators and about property. Wouldn’t stay there again."

"The rooms were sorta clean. Dirty walls,very dirty balcony and chairs couldn't go out and sit. Floors not to clean carpets dirty.no beach view for the price. Had to park across the street because not enough parking in the main lot. Wouldn't stay here again for maybe 3 to 4 years. Reason because they are remodeling i noticed but im sure it will take them that long to redo everything and there prices will probably double."

"Pool area was great. Resort is doing renovations and half of the pool was unusable and no restrooms were available except to go to the third floor. Our room was nice but noticed the bathroom wasn’t completely clean( toothpaste left on counter) but housekeeping did bring towels daily. There was a major leak under the sink, once reported it was repaired."
