"The host greeted us and answered all of our questions. Chris gave us our privacy, but let us know that we were free to knock on his door with questions. He had a great notebook with recommendations for sights, restaurants, etc. The Italian restaurant suggested had great food. Don’t miss the Gruene Dance Hall. Even if you can’t go to the night time dance, be sure to check out the pictures inside. The Grist Mill restaurant had an Octoberfest sausage plate that was nice. The roof top deck was great. I walk with a cane, but the stairs had a railing, so it was not a problem. "

"This is an amazing property - we saw deer each day and it was super quiet and very convenient to local amenities! It felt like a home away from home, and honestly, I’d be happy to live in it. We loved having kitty visits, the beds and pillows were so comfortable, the private deck was also really really nice. It was clean, had more than what we needed, and very comfy and cozy living room open to the kitchen. I hope to go back next time I’m visiting family. Thank you Sarah. "

"Beautiful and very clean cabin! We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Management/owners were very easy to communicate with and answered our questions quickly. Check in was quick and easy! The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes, and the bathroom had plenty of towels and supplies. There was also a great selection of board games that we enjoyed. We would definitely recommend this cabin and would stay here again! "

"We had a group of 8 people and two dogs and it fit us all perfectly! Views from the master suites was phenomenal. Living room area/kitchen all open access and the views were unobstructed to the Guadalupe. We really enjoyed the fire pit down by the river with a big, beautiful tree overhead.The kayaks were a plus… super fun!There was even a hogwash in the laundry room.Overall, we had a perfect, peaceful weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We would definitely return, especially when you get that bottom finished Loved it!!"
