Great place

I enjoyed my stay at this condo. The place was clean and comfortable and the beach was serene. The kitchen was well stocked to cook meals and the Kaibo beach restaurant was a short walk away. It was nice to have a pool. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

"Kaibo Star" is very relaxing and cozy. Spectacular beach and ocean view. Albeit our booking was during the low season, (which my wife and I did not mind). The condo provided a nice and quiet environment located in a great neighborhood. It was like we had our own private beach. The accommodations were excellent. Clean, well maintained and stock. Our hostess Maya was very pleasant and attentive to our needs during our stay. She also provided pertinent information regarding the local community. This was our second visit and without a doubt; God willing we planned on a third. Highly recommended!!

Our stay at Kaibo Star for 2: was nothing short of incredible! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. Maya was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was responsive, helpful, and made the whole process so easy. Everything she promised was exactly as it was when we arrived, which made for a truly stress-free and enjoyable vacation. Wonderful

The unit was clean and cozy but the view while sitting on the lanai was fantastic. Beautiful area with Starfish Point a short walk and Kaibo Resort next door and being on that bay watching the boats come and go was so relaxing. Would go back to the same spot again

Great spot

Excellent choice. It’s a very nice cabin. Very comfortable and it’s an easy drive up to it. Not too far up and didn’t need a four wheel drive. I would highly recommend!

A great getaway!

The unit was fully equipped, well-furnished and well-located at the quiet end of the Kaibo complex. Super comfy king bed, screened balcony and everything you need for a week of R and R. Thankfully far from the hustle and bustle of 7-Mile Beach.

Amazing Week in Grand Cayman

Bride to Be Celebration

The property fit our group well. We didn't get to enjoy the deck or hot tub since it was very cold and snow was still everywhere. But we had plenty of fun and chit chat inside. We traveled to Blue Ridge and enjoyed the shops and dining. Overall we had a fantastic time!

The condo and surroundings did not disappoint. We were very happy with the location being close to a restaurant, close to Starfish Point park and Rum Point. The Kayak was a great plus. We were able to see many beautiful starfish from the kayak. The area was very quiet and non-tourist, which was exactly what we wanted. The property manager was very responsive with questions. She made the process easy. I would highly recommend this condo for anyone interested in a serene vacation spot.

Perfect Romantic Getaway For Two!

We had an unforgettable stay at this charming condominium on the north side of Grand Cayman Island, near Rum Point. The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking ocean view, we enjoyed morning coffees and evening sunsets on the covered patio. The beautifully appointed kitchen made preparing food a breeze, and the comfortable king-sized bed ensured a restful night's sleep. Our experience was fantastic, and we would highly recommend it for a romantic getaway.

Perfect!

My husband and I loved staying here, the location is walking distance to Kaibo which has coffee, restaurant, water sports, ferry to Camana Bay, and trips out to Stingray City. We prefer to stay out at Rum Point as opposed to 7 mile, much slower paced. The condo itself is very nice, loved the pool and hot tub. Snorkeled right out front to see Starfish.

Beach vacay

2 weeks on the beaches of Kaibo condos is a must do. Very peaceful enjoyable time with Sandy beach, pool and shade for when the sun gets too hot. Water ferry takes you back to town across the ocean must do for a day or two. Don’t miss the stingray tour and bioluminescence tour which leave from the dock out front. Go relax and have a fabulous time.

The apartment was clean, well equipped and the organization and coordination of the checkin was well organized and efficient. 3 downsides were that there was no warning of the number of biting bugs. That snorkeling was impossible and that there was a beach.

super the 2nd time

this was our second january trip. 2023 we stayed for 7 days and this year we just finished 14 days. the condo is clean, neat and the view is fantastic. rum point, with the new bars and restaurant, is a great way to spend the day or head over for cocktails and dinner. we expect to be back

Relaxing retreat

The property’s location at the end of the row of Kaibo condominiums affords it a peaceful and quiet outlook. The property is right on the beach and we loved having breakfast on the nice sized balcony every morning. The condo is very well equipped with everything you would need, the bed is super comfortable and you are walking distance from the Kaibo Yacht club for a few cocktails. Would advise having a car to see the island and explore east side which has some lovely restaurants! We ate in the condo some nights and the supermarkets are about 30 min drive away, there is a smaller shop about 10 min for essentials. We absolutely loved our stay here, it is exactly as advertised and Julie the manager was easily contactable for helpful advise! Excellent for a couple, highly recommended.

AWESOME Rental !!!

What a great property!! I can't say enough great things about this property. They had everything we needed. Extra towels, extra snorkel equipment, snacks, coffee, extra sheets, Netflix, a paddleboard, a kayak, and did I mention coffee and tea? The location was perfect. Close to Starfish Point, Close to an excellent restaurant. Steps from the ocean. It is a drive into town but we didn't mind at all. We were away from the hustle and bustle of everything. We will definitely be staying here again

Lovely place and nice location

The condo is situated in an idyllic setting with nice views and easy walking distance to several restaurants and beaches. There were ample kitchen supplies, towels, beach accessories including beach chairs and umbrella, and a kayak with equipment for using it. Julie the manager of the property was very easy to work with and communicated in a timely fashion about everything, including sending a maintenance guy over to deal with a slow drain within minutes of the request. If you’re looking for a laid back, chill place to hang, this is it! My one suggestion: buy groceries and booze before you leave the more populated areas of the island—meaning in Georgetown!

Highly Recommend! Perfect stay for our special occasion!

Peaceful & perfect island vibes! Maya was extremely friendly, goes above & beyond to make your trip is perfect, providing many thoughtful amenities, recommendations, & things other VRBOs might not. I'm EXTREMELY thorough when choosing a place to stay. The condos are oceanfront w/great beach, clean, patios w/breeze, comfy beds, nice shower, pool/hot tub, stocked kitchen, kayak, snorkel stuff, enough privacy if you want, but we still met many nice people (locals and tourists). We saw many jellyfish & starfish right outside, but Starfish Point is also walking distance (w/bathroom, outdoor shower, clear sandy ocean for swimming). Walking distance to Kaibo Restaurant & coffee shop (great atmosphere, & food, also has ferry here). It is a min drive to Rum Point for RP Club restaurant, gift shop, Resort restaurant,&public beach (all great drinks, food, staff, sunsets). We debated staying in the N area, questioning if it would be too isolated or expensive – however, after seeing every part of the island we were 100% happy with it! The driving was 40 mins MAX anywhere. Preferred having the escape from the Western half of the island traffic, noise, & atmosphere. The whole island is full of gorgeous beaches, blue water (we never stopped at 7MileBeach & never felt the need or regret not going). We didn’t experience any issues with mosquitos (bug spray is at condo tho). Do Bio Bay & bird feeding @ Tukka East! Thank u Maya for the rum cake & making my birthday trip amazing!

Tranquil Stay in the Kaibo area of North Shore

Grand Cayman is one our favorite island vacation spots with beautiful beaches, crystal clear water, good dining options, lots of water related activities and importantly, welcoming residents. The only negative might be that, like most islands, everything is about 20-30% more expensive that in the U.S. Our stay in the tranquil "Beautiful Beachfront Oasis" was really enjoyable. We will return! The condo is located in the upscale Kaibo area of the island's North Shore. The grandly named Kaibo Yacht Club is next-door with a couple nice beach eateries. The beach entertainment area of Rum Point is about five minutes drive away. North Shore is a 45-50 minute drive from the airport/Georgetown/Seven Mile Beach so a rental car is definitely needed. The condo is on the second floor of a four unit building with scenic water views from it's moderate sized screened balcony. A great place for quiet morning coffee or to relax at the end of an active day. The sandy beach in front is nicely shaded by palm trees but I found swimming to be better at Starfish Point, about a four minute walk away. Surprisingly, we saw/felt zero bugs so the repellant remained packed during our entire stay. The condo itself was compact, very well maintained, clean and tastefully appointed with a tropical beach theme. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. There were plenty of towels of various sizes and a comfortable king-sized bed. The table and chairs on the balcony served as our dining area.

Could not have been better!

Book this property now! It is in a quiet neighborhood and we had the beach entirely to ourselves. Condo is directly on the water 2nd floor. Inside the condo are glass doors to a balcony with a spectacular view. We sat on the balcony to watch the sunrise. We rented a car and toured the whole island and i am so glad we picked this area-calm/quiet/peaceful. There is a restaurant only a few feet from condo that has beach side chairs/tables/beds etc. Try Rankins Jerk-it is a road side place you would just drive by-don’t! It was delicious food (about 30 min). The water right outside the condo was stunning and it must be highly salinated because i swam out far and didn't even have to move my arms and legs to stay perfectly afloat (ppl pay $ for that where I am from). You can walk to starfish beach (popular location). There is also an area near by that you have to access by boat that has bioluminescence but i will tell you a secret…one night i couldn’t sleep, went down to the condo beach at 3am and right in front of the condo was a small area of bioluminescence. What a special surprise!! Perfect for children because the water is very calm and shallow for a distance. Inside the condo is beautiful, clean and spacious for 2, has a lot of cooking items and a few spices, coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, snack basket from host. This place is so special that my partner decided to propose right there! Host and manager were great as well! Not ONE complaint! Best VRBO i have stayed in thus far!
