"We had a lovely room with a good sized fridge, stove top, cooking utensils and a king sized bed. We had a lovely continental breakfast every morning (I love the pancake maker!) and the location was central to everything."

"The hotel was still rebuilding after the cyclone so not all amenities were up and running but understandable given the circumstances. Our room was very large, bed was comfortable and location was central. A good mid-range hotel."

"We only had 2 niggles. 1. Could not get free to air TV working, it looked like the remote was not working. The other remote for Foxtel was ok. 2. No plug in the bathroom sink, more difficult for wet shavers. Whalers restaurant on site was superb!"

"Our one bedroom apartment and balcony were spacious, clean, and well furnished and stocked. The interior of the unit is a little dated, but very well maintained. The on-site restaurant was nice and convenient. Resort staff were very helpful. There is a local bus stop across the street from the resort, which is convenient, and Cable Beach is a short 15 minute walk away. The pools were very nice. Well done!!!"
