"I wanted to give this motel a 5 because it really is a lovely place. It is clean and the patio view of the lake and bridge, as well as, the breakfast and staff were wonderful. The nightly fire pit and the fireworks show we saw from the bridge was spectacular. However, our bed didn't just creak it screamed if you made the slightest move in it :( and our shower drizzled water that was either very hot or cold. We were with another party that stayed in a different room and although they said the shower also didn't have much pressure, they didn't have the same problems. I would stay there again but not in that room or would check it first."

"The staff were all very nice and the room was clean loved the walkout balcony to the beach, the property could use a couple maintenance updates here and there but it was very minimal and didnt effect the cleanliness of our stay so overall a great hotel if youre in the area ill definitely be back"

"Could use a bit of updating but generally clean and well-maintained. The location, just across the street from a lighthouse and marvelous view of the Mackinac Bridge, was superb -- I would recommend booking the lakeside rooms that had patios for viewing. Instead of offering breakfast (beyond coffee and granola bars), we were given BOGO coupons for nearby breakfast restaurants, but the online reviews for these noted that the BOGO choices were limited, overpriced, and not very good -- drive around the corner and go to Audie's Restaurant instead."
