"Nice service at front desk, Clean rooms"

"Upon entry, I had to kick needles out of the way before my 4 year old picked them up. There were blood soaked rags laying about, cans of pop and random debris. There was a woman who pulled up in a taxi and was drunk and spitting as she was exiting. The place felt dark and didn’t feel inviting. The staff member at the front was not at all enthusiastic. We went to bed at 8pm and by 9pm a group was situated next door and they were loud and drinking until 2:45am. I called down to the desk to ask if they could tell them to turn it down… I was advised they would call the room.. nothing changed. There was limited hot water… the breakfast was well put together and the staff member was pleasant and had a great vibe. I would not recommend or be returning to this location. "

"My stay was good, but one staff was not. I had a question after my stay so I called the main desk. Unfortunately the lady did not understand what I was talking about. Instead of saying, sorry I don't understand what your saying, let me transfer you to someone who can, she hung up on me. Keeping in mind I was polite and repeated my question 3 times. I get not everyone understands everyone, so no big deal, transfer me to someone who can. I called back and asked for a manager. She transfered me to a managers voicemail. I left my name, number, asked that he contact me back. It's been 3 days so far and I have not been contacted. Disappointed in the staff. It takes two seconds to pick up a phone and call a guest back."

"Absolutely, Decor was tasteful like old rich accommodation. beautiful and clean. room comfortable. property very clean and quiet. Decor of old style well appointed hotel. hotel located in a former busy areaof the city located behind hospital. traffic light and parking fairly easy in earlier part of evening. wifi great without any trouble. "
