Perfect family celebration
We loved our stay! Our son graduated UA and family joined us for this special occasion. We felt very comfortable at the property. We enjoyed the lake and all the amenities. It was spacious and cozy. The property was very true to the description. Our family wants to come back in 3 years when our son graduates law school!

Hidden Gem on Lake Tuscaloosa
I and my familly (7 adults and 5 children) had a wonderful new years holiday on the property. The house was clean with excellent touches everywhere to make guests feel welcome (air fresheners, plenty of towels, soap and shampoo in the bathrooms, fire starters, and plenty of wood) and a nicely stocked kitchen for guests who like to cook. The house was plenty big for our party when you include the dual wrap around porches which would be even better in the summer. All told a house we'll definitely book again in the area.

Wow! This is the place you want to be!
This is an incredibly wonderful location! The sunrise and sunsets over the lake are beautiful. There was no noise, just peace and quiet. It is a relatively short drive to get anywhere, which was super convenient. If you have a desire for a great place to stay, then this place is for you!

Review of 5 bedroom 4 with King size beds on Lake Tuscaloosa.
The place and setting were nice but a lot smaller than appeared.The road leading there was narrow and a little scary.

Peaceful Relaxing and Beautiful
A beautiful house with an even more beautiful view. From the screened in porch to all the attention to detail in the house this is a well stocked, very comfortable house to enjoy the lake and the peacefulness that comes with it. We were a big group of couples that all loved our stay here. King beds were very comfortable and the house is stock with all of the necessities. Wish we lived closer, we would definitely stay here often.

Football Weekend
We stayed here for a weekend college football trip and this place was amazing. It's absolutely beautiful there and having access to the lake is incredible. I can't recommend this place enough.

No extra pillows or blankets / dusty
I called after the first night asking where I could find extra pillows and blankets but the owner was not very friendly at all. He sent a women over to see what was wrong and she was extremely nice and said he would get back to us.But unfortunately he never did! So we never received extra pillows or blankets. There were not even enough pillows to go around especially in the bunk bed room they only had the decorative ones and we wouldn’t use those. The house was very dusty and the floors needed to be cleaned. My granddaughters socks were black with dirt after walking in the hardwood floors and full of dust balls. Besides that the house is beautiful and roomy Outside is very rundown but inside is all new. We just expected more since we were were charged over 7,000 for 4 nights. We were ok paying we were there for graduation but it wasn’t worth what we paid it’s way overpriced. It’s kind of sad you come from out of state and they know it’s Graduation or a football game snd the prices are jacked up. Def not like staying jn a hotel with plush amenities but it was nice to have everyone stay all together!!

Thanksgiving/Iron Bowl
Our growing family rented this home to celebrate Thanksgiving and attend the Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa. It was the perfect location, beautiful views and had everything we needed to celebrate Thanksgiving. We even rented a pontoon boat for a day to explore the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

Bama Homecoming
We stayed at this home for Bama Homecoming with 2 other couples and 1 single mom. The house was perfect! 4 bedrooms with kings! No one has to fight for a big bed. One room had 2 bunk beds, so would have been great if there were kids coming as well. House was very clean, and the view of the lake is spectacular! Would rent here again without hesitation. The house is only 20-25 min from campus.

Wonderful stay!
We stayed during our daughter's graduation from UA. We had such a wonderful time. The location is perfect - far enough from the craziness of Tuscaloosa during graduation, but yet an easy drive to get back there. All the amenities we needed were provided. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We spent most of our time on the back screened in porch. It was such a beautiful view - so relaxing. It definitely felt like we were on vacation! Can't wait to go back and stay again!

Great fall weekend at the lake
The house is located on a beautiful piece of property overlooking Lake Tuscaloosa. The interior is decorated nicely and had a fully stocked kitchen. Everyone slept well in the comfortable beds. We would definitely like to visit again!

This was our first time to lake Tuscaloosa and it was great. The house was as expected and good. We stayed on the nice big porch most of the time. We did rent a boat one day and wish we would have rented it for 2 days, but the marina was booked up the 2nd day. I don’t think we could say anything negative about the property.

Nice Family Getaway
The interior has been nicely updated although the exterior has not. Inclement weather cut our stay short, but beautiful waterfront panorama and tucked away from neighbors. And perfect for those who like very soft beds in a private and cozy retreat. Best to use GPS to find it and pay attention to the mailbox numbers to avoid driving past the entrance. Lots of games available for kids and an ideal multi-bunk bed room for youngsters, grandkids, etc.

Excellent accommodations and location
We were very thrilled with this property. The location is superb. The sleeping arrangements are more than adequate for two families with children, everything was in working condition and the kitchen was well supplied. Richard and his father are very responsive, not that we really needed their assistance with the property. As some other reviews have noted, the walk to the dock is steep and rocky. There are no stairs. Fortunately for our group it wasn’t an issue. But the views from the porch and dock are well worth the effort. We made use of the kayaks and we were able to rent a pontoon boat from Redline for the week. I highly recommend getting the boat and getting out on the water. The location of this house makes it easy, even for a novice. I would definitely rent this place again.

Great location on the lake, convenient for swimming and out of boat traffic. Climb from lake to house is a little steep and rugged for older adults. Great view of lake from screen porch. Overall a great family vacation during Covid times.

Perfect location on Lake Tuscaloosa
This property offers extraordinary views of Lake Tuscaloosa from the rocking chairs on the screened-in porch. If that’s not enough, the short walk down to the pier allows you to play in the lake and bask in the sun for hours on end. I would highly recommend this property.

Lake House Experience
I rented the the Lake House for change of scenery. My parents needed that after the death of my sister., who lost her battle with cancer. Immediately after furneral services we drove into town to stay. The view of the lake was exceptional and very peaceful. We truly enjoyed it. Perfect place to relax out on the screen in porch that wraps around the house. Will definitely rent again.
