"We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming. Note if you stay during the warmer season: There’s no AC in the room or ventilation in the bathrooms. "Et fint lille sted. Hyggelige hytter men ikke med eget bad, som vi ellers troede v bookingen, da der stod: 1 soveværelse, 1 badeværelse. Toilet og bad foregik i fælles bygning med pladsens øvrige gæster. Det er også helt ok, hvis man ved det ved booking."

"This is truly a gemstone - not in terms of fancy- fancy but rather solid, honest 3 Star in a superbly quiet and beautiful atmosphere. Easy walk to the largely unmolested beach, even easier walk to completely unchanged nature at the backdrop. GREAT breakfast! This to me is a bit like time travelling- in a good way! "

"This place has a certain charm because it is smaller and very relaxed as well as 2 to 4 walk to all the restaurants and even the beach. The town is very special in that it is small but has lots of dining options and is located about 200 meters from the beach. Rooms are smallish but adequate."

"Dejligt ophold hvor man følte sig velkommen. Gammel sygehus som er bygget om og med rigtig god stil. Det var mere et fællesskab end et ophold, slet ikke hotel. Super søde værter! OBS på fælles bad/toliet...men dejligt rent med håndklæder og alt. Dagen forinden, havde der været koncert i haven. Mega hyggeligt sted, hvis man ikke er til det traditionelle hotelværelse og er frisk på at møde søde mennesker. "

"Meget sødt personale. Der var rent og pænt. God beliggenhed ved stranden. Parkering foran lejligheden. Dog var sovesofaen rigtig skidt. Ingen topmadras, så man lå på sofahynderne med de mellemrum, der var. Det er ikke en lejlighed til 4 personer. Max tre."

Hotel Hirtshals

10/10 Excellent

"They do have rooms with better view, but I did not find them through Hotels doc com, even so, it was still gorgeous. Also the bed and the covers/pillows were outstanding. I slept like a rock. The room was a tad too bare in some respects, e.g. no holder for soap and shampoo in the shower, but plenty of outlets, lights and accompanying switches and a nice large screen tv. Breakfast was solid and kept me well going for the day"
