"The rooms were clean and each overlooks the Elizabeth River towards Norfolk's waterside which was beautiful at night. The restaurant food was delicious and all staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel isn't in an area where there weren't any undesirable folks hanging around si it felt very safe to walk around at night."

"Everything was nice. With a handicap room you need more towels so u can soap up the water that gets all over the bathroom."

"Room was spotless, staff very polite and efficient, from the valet to the front desk, the bartender and the cleaning staff. Everyone had a smile and a friendly demeanor. View from the room was gorgeous."

"The staff is wonderful. Check-in was a breeze and very courteous. Diana at the bistro made my evening by correcting my meal. It made all the difference after a long drive from Charleston, SC. The room was clean but could stand a bit of updating. Furniture is a bit beat up. Beds were not made to Marriott standards, even if it is a Courtyard. For downtown Norfolk, I expect a bit more."
