"Unfortunately, due to inconsederate guests, we were not able to stay in the 3 bedrooms lodged we had booked. Mrs Domange set us up in the other cottage, which is a 4 bedrooms one. The cottage is less modern that the one we had chosen but none the less confortable. Other than that the estate is gorgeous and it was such a pleasure to be able to have morning or evening walks around the park. The swimming pool was also a plus. "This is such a beautiful home. It is located in a quiet area close to the center of Poitiers. The house is very large, so there was plenty of room for us to spread out. Phillipe is such a wonderful host. He was so incredibly kind and generous with his time. He drove all the way from Paris to meet us. "The property is stunning and maintains a real sense of history and character, whilst being modern and comfortable to stay in. "We fell in love with this old Priory as soon as we arrived. It was extremely peaceful. The grounds were extensive with the river running through the grounds. We particularly liked the little chapel & hope that if we return this will have been restored. Our gite was very clean & comfortable. Gilles was a good helpful host. We will go back."
