The gentleman who helped us have a very late check-in last night, due to the extreme weather we drove down in, was wonderfully helpful and professional. The room was clean and comfortable and the beds were so comfy and sheets felt amazing! Thanks for having us and being so accommodating for our stay!!

Very welcoming staff. Decor was very tasteful, very comfortable bed and the shower had excellent water pressure. Lots of small inclusions in the room, small two hob hotplate and microwave if required plus an electric blanket which seems to be missing in some facilities these days. Close to main town centre so not far to travel for dining etc. All in all a very comfortable stay.

Except for a couple of maintenance items such as cupboard door next to fridge not closing, curtains dragging on floor, water running under shower wall and front door hard to move it was great . The hosts were very obliging and friendly and serve a great breakfast.

We stayed overnight and was perfect for our trip back home after exploring the south coast of NSW. Typical of a Motor Inn type accommodation and no complaints about the room other than the shower is a bit small. Yes you do get a bit of road noise as its located right on the main road but nothing of a major concern. My wife and I would recommended Avaleen Lodge Motor Inn for a short stay.

The set up is clean, attractive and all one needs for a nights stay. The TV is not designed for Free To Air TV and difficult to navigate. The AC drops out at night leaving one to wake cold. The most uncomfortable time was the whole time in loading up the car with three employees or friends of the owner idly chatting close to the rear of my car. Weird! Also they charged me for my stay whereas I thought my payment was through Hotels.com
