My family enjoyed our stay in the middle of a quiet and secluded home just off the Bull River. A great time to recharge batteries and spend time together
This property was awesome! Very clean and comfortable and location was fantastic. We had access to the river and the large yard and shady trees were serene! I would definitely recommend!
This place was like home away from home! Absolutely beautiful place and very clean. Amazingly stocked kitchen! Perfect location to all the sites we had planned on visiting. The scenery from the front and back decks was awesome.
Great place in a remote area to get away from the pace of modern society. The river on the property has some great trout fishing and the morning coffee experience on the patio is a ritual I will miss.
Stayed with family for a couple days of fishing. Very warm conditions, so fishing wasn't great. But the house was very clean, cool, and a welcome respite after being in the sun all day. Well stocked, nice linens. Wi-fi was slow, but effective. Overall a really nice visit.
This rental met all of our nemesis for a very enjoyable family trip. The views and property are beautiful. Only issues were spotty internet and then no internet the last 2 days. Only one large trash bag available so trash disposal was the only other issue. Would definitely recommend this home and would stay again.
This home is a special place. Right on the Bull River and surrounded by the Cabinet Mountains, it is a perfect spot for a NW Montana getaway. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommended!
Perfect little getaway spot, right on Bull River, very quiet and private centrally located in one of the most beautiful places you’ll ever be. Great commutation from the host, very responsive. Don’t expect your phone to ring or your kids to sit all day in their phones, tons to explore!!

4.5 Stars - Fantastic tranquil location on the banks of the Bull River.
Great Location!
Beautiful isolated setting, nestled on the Bull River. No other house insight. Ideal for our reunion of 5 buddies who had all worked in Glacier Nat'l Park 40 years ago. Spectacular views from front porch.
House was comfortable, spacious & well-stocked kitchen with cooking essentials, (i.e. pots and pans, plates, utensils, paper towels, spices). Nice having laundry w/ washer/dryer and supplies. Good wi-fi.
From previous visits to area, we knew ahead of time to buy groceries in Spokane or Sandpoint. So we rented large cooler with our TURO SUV rental, and stocked up before arriving.
***No house issues, except for uninvited black bear guest on one night.*** He said he had an overlapping EVOLVE reservation but we denied entry.
Areas to improve upon:
Prior to arrival (5-10 days out), communication with host could be improved; i.e. key access info, minor details (type of coffee pot, grill availability, directions to house once off main road), etc.
We didn't try to turn on the large screen tv until Day 3 since we were outside sun-up to sun-down every day; but on Day 4 we could never get tv to tune to a station. May be leave instructions for guests, or we could bring a millennial with us next time.
Conclusion:
A fabulous spot on the Bull River where you can leave city life behind and enjoy the beauty of Montana. Easy day trips for us included: fly fishing on the Kootenai, hiking thru Ross Creek Cedars, floating the Bull River, hiking into Kootenai Falls, pontoon boating on Lake Pend Oreille, and catching Monday Night football at the Halfway House on Hwy 56.
