The cabin was perfect. Super cold outside but we were able to warm up nicely for a cozy, comfortable lazy weekend, watching movies, working a little and studying. Jumanji is so private... in the middle of nowhere, at least in the winter... but there is a great breakfast place down the street and an awesome place for dinner about 15 minutes away. Communication was great although barely required as everything was as listed in advertisement. We will be back for sure.
Super quiet cabin, with access to the lake.
Wood fire available for chimney was nice and toasty!!
Hostess was so helpful always answering my questions.
Definitely we will be back !!!
The location is perfect. Our desire was to be far from everyone and have a calm weekend with our dogs and it was a success. The only thing is that the water stank.
This was a super beautiful private lakeside get away close to all the essentials while providing and great space for lawn games, water activities, and relaxing both by the house and by the water. It was the perfect place for our group of friends!
Cottage and property were nice and kept well. First time for us in the area and thought it was closer to Montreal. About 1 hr drive to old port. Totally enjoyed our stay.
Overall we enjoyed our stay with family. Didn’t realize we would be awaken each morning by gunshots. Assume there were hunters in the area, nothing written in the description of the cabin.

Location is nice about 1 hr from Montreal. On river front. kayaks, paddleboards and canoe available. Owner is very nice and came himself when his lawn contractors did not show up. The shrubs in the middle of the gravel road were very tall and scrapes the cars - owner came 2 days later to do it himself. A major disappointment was the laundry washer did not work - they responded that this was stated in the vrbo ad - which I do not recall seeing. I booked it about 6 months in advance and likely the washer was not broken then. Not having laundry washer in a remote cottage is very inconvenient. We basically spent the better half of a day going to a town 35 minutes away to do laundry. During hot days, the ac is insufficient. Plugging in both the portable acs trip the breaker. Be aware that the water there is very sulphury and so, you need to get lots of potable water.
